FIG, located in Santa Monica at the Fairmont Miramar, is a neighborhood bistro committed to fresh, seasonal cuisine. The menu features diverse Southern California bounty, sourced from multiple weekly visits to the local farmers markets and from specialty foragers that comb the coastline for hard to find items.

Such a lovely place to visit. They have amazing food my favorite dish is their Lamb Bolognese, and their risotto with jumbo shrimp, amazing desserts too, and not to mention a great selection of wine. The atmosphere is my favorite especially for dinner so cozy and love the pool view. The service is impeccable Jordan is their best server he is so attentive, friendly, and gives the best guest experience always on top of everything. Oh they are very dog friendly and that’s always a huge plus in my book.

From the moment we arrived we were well take care of. Everything we ordered came out quickly and was very delicious! Would highly recommend! The shrimp cocktail and the sweet potato falafel were great. So was the wedge salad and lamb bolognese.

Great place for delicious breakfast, after a good brisk morning walk.
I had a fresh omelet, with mushrooms, onions and cheese. I added fresh toasted slices of sourdough bread and a cup of Americano coffee (stronger than regular coffee). Not a long wait, comfortable seating, attentive server, made it a complete pleasant meal.

Came here for our wedding anniversary. Staff was friendly & food was good. They even provided complimentary champagne for our occasion. Cinnamon roll was underwhelming but still good , & we loved the eggs Benedict & the raclette burger. My only complaint is that the floor where I sat had some avocado stains that got on my shoe. But overall great experience.

Our evening at Fig Restaurant was truly memorable, thanks to John and Emily! The atmosphere was beautiful, it was the perfect setting for an amazing meal. John and Emily were not only kind and friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring we had an exceptional dining experience. Burrata with peaches, Caesar salad and steak were amazing! They also helped us pair the wines! They were simply awesome! Highly recommend!

I stayed at the hotel for three nights, and all I can say is that the food and service at The Fig and the Lobby Lounge were truly outstanding. Every meal was a delight, and the staff went above and beyond to make the experience special. A big thank you to the amazing team (Juanita, Luis, Jordan, and the super energetic blond server at Sunday’s breakfast). Exceptional service all around. I’ll definitely be back!

The chef came out and he suggested for us terrific dishes from the start, and through desert. We talked for a bit…Definitely worth the making in the experience, the food was great and our experience really enjoyable! I especially enjoyed the seafood pasta, filet and homemade ice cream. Ambience nice.

Atmosphere is great. Beautiful and lively. Came in with my food adventurous teenage kids for Xmas eve dinner. Our main server got sat with a lot of tables after we ordered but she was very pleasant and doing her best. Other support wait staff was great. Food was a 50/50 mix of great and not so great. My son had the Gnudi which was simple and delicious. Although looked more like a spring dish based on the veggies. burratta Perwimmon salad was excellent. Calamari was fine but a little over cook and underwhelming for a restaurant of this quality. I was excited about the beef tartare but it was incredibly bland and under seasoned. I did not taste any of the usual ingredients, such as mustard, Worcestershire, pickles, or capers, and an egg yolk to tie it all together. Kitchen – please taste your tartare

I don’t typically write negative reviews, but the service I received this morning was very disappointing. I initially tried to order breakfast burritos to go from the coffee café, but due to dietary restrictions, I needed a few simple modifications. I was directed to FIG Restaurant, where I was told they could accommodate my request since the coffee café burritos are pre-made.
Unfortunately, my experience there fell far short of expectations. The bartender who assisted me made several snarky and unprofessional comments about my order and was not polite throughout the interaction. I want to emphasize that I was only requesting the removal of certain ingredients—not asking for anything off-menu or unreasonable.
What was most concerning, however, was that after taking my order, the bartender proceeded to speak negatively about me to other staff members within earshot, seemingly assuming I couldn’t hear him. This was both uncomfortable and inappropriate.
We have stayed at many Fairmont properties and have always associated the brand with a high standard of service, which made this experience particularly disappointing. I hope management is able to identify the employee involved and address this issue appropriately.
For reference, this occurred on 02/22 at approximately 8:30 AM.
