Come to New Castle every 2 weeks. Initially got 10 dollar chicken bucket. Last time I came I got one of each. 8 piece all dark & 8 piece strips. It was terrible and I haven’t been back. Very disappointed.

We have tried KFC all over town, this Newcastle branch has the best. I am not sure how, but their chicken are cooked just right. Sadly, I have come at the time where massive road constructions are ongoing, missed the turning twice, but glad I did not come after dark. It’s a further location from home, but will definitely come back here again after the road constructions are done!

My receipt says Crystyn, so anyway the lady tried to charge me $28.52 for 2 legs 2 spicy tenders and 2 sandwiches. 1 spicy 1 original. No sides or drinks. Then when I got to the window I asked why so much, and she said $7 plus tax for the 2 legs alone. $10 plus tax for the sandwiches and $8 plus tax for the 2 piece spicy tenders. You’re supposed to get one sauce free and she had already given me my receipt before I asked for a sauce and had already charged me for this sauce before she even knew if I wanted any. Told me getting it spicy is an upcharge. And then when I got my spicy tenders the container was filled with their grease and all of the crud that goes on the bottom of the fryer. The tenders were covered in that black stuff from the bottom of the grease pan. I asked for new ones she was said she would have to charge me twice. I asked for a ranch and a KFC sauce she gave me a barbecue and a honey mustard. By the way I told her to take the $7 chicken legs off because that’s ridiculous $3.50 a piece. When they’re going to pick out the smallest one that gives you two whole bites. This brought my bill down $10 taking the 2 legs off.

Ordered a 24 Peace kfc chicken nuggets. But instead I got about 8 pieces of edible chicken and the rest are dried old and burnt chicken. Drove home 17 minutes away to open the box and find this. Calling mckenzie foods tomorrow morning

If I could give 0 stars I would but I can’t if I want to leave a review. This is got to be the worse KFC I have had my order messed up more times then it’s been right. I placed 2 orders today and not only did they mess up the orders but they shorted me food. After I call down to explain what they had done the manager told me that I would have to bring all the food back and they would replace what I brought in, not really sure how that would have worked with the items I was missing. When I questioned the process she was wanted me to take she said that was how I would have to do it or I would have to go online and file for a refund and then she hung up on me. So we can’t get refunds anymore at the restaurant if they mess up our orders just so everyone knows this, well not at the store at least. Never returning Lees Famous Chicken is where I will be spending my money from here on out.

Eh, food is alright but airways looks like they bagged it from across the room and whatever makes it in is what you get. They cram as much as they can into a bag that everything gets crushed and starts falling out as soon as you sit it down. I had 2 large fries in my order and neither box was even half full. This was after I waited over 20 minutes to even order. I was in line for 10 minutes and then got to the window and the guy asked me to wait a minute and 10 minutes later he was able to take my order. I understand that everyone is short staffed but this is the second time I’ve been here in two weeks and the time before they charged me for combos instead of just the item I ordered and I didn’t realize until I was staring at the menu for over 10 minutes. It’s like a $9 difference on a $45 order! That’s just crazy. And they didn’t even give me the stuff they charged me for. I will be extra careful if I go there again.

I am definitly not one to leave bad reviews, but there isn’t much nice to say… We haven’t had the best luck here, but thought we’d try again after the new renovations. No improvements.
Almost all the food on the buffet was either empty or old and dried out (at 12:15!). Anything I asked to have a fresh scoop of was either denied, or seemed to be a huge annoying hassle. All desserts sat empty for our entire 1 hour visit. Mac and cheese was so dry, it was brown and the entire bin was almost hardened into a solid block. The biscuits were so hard we literally couldn’t bite them. I asked for a fresh one, so my 85 year old granny could actually eat it, and the employees made of my request and snickered over the headsets. She lives on a fixed income, and now and then likes to treat herself to their buffet. Sadly, I feel like it’s a big waste of money. Empty bins, bad service and old food is not what she was hoping for.
The new renovations are nice. The colors are good and it looks modern and updated. However, it was not especially clean. I really wish I had more nice things to say, but service and food are consistently bad.
For $9-$10 a person, there are definitely better home-style meals in town.
