I was starving (and on a long road trip) and stopped in for a chicken pot pie . I received a mushy potato pot pie with a few soft carrots and green peas. THERE WAS NO CHICKEN. The potatoes were almost like mashed potatoes. I should have left this truck stop KFC after I walked in, PASS. AVOID. Do not stop here for food.
When you are driving it’s almost impossible to ck for reviews. I saw later that this place was a 3 KFC. After reading some of the bad reviews….I know I should not have stopped.
It was probably old as the vegetables could not have gotten this mushy by

A young man at the front counter was very nice and took my order right away. Four piece original recipe with the side of green beans and an extra side of french fries. The order was put together before I had my drink poured. The french fries were a little bit rubbery and the gal who puts orders together switched it out for a mac & cheese without batting an eye & she seemed disappointed the fries were not ideal. The place is very clean & the music was perfect.
I don’t eat like I use to but the chicken was so perfectly cooked, I ate every bit.

We ordered for Mercedes, they were nice and had everything ready on time (10:15-10:20am). However, as I was only the person picking it up and not eating it, I was informed later that they had left out ALL the biscuits and since this was a large order, it made me feel bad because I did not know what to look for throughout the order and I was informed that this was a constant that had happened before (biscuits being left out, had I known, I would’ve searched). So I hate to give you all three stars but for that reason I am.

If you’re driving anything larger than a SUV this is not the place to stop for a meal. What is the point of being connected to a truck stop when people can’t even place a to-go order. This KFC is Not trucker nor charter bus friendly.

I always have problems with getting my biscuits here. Only The most important part right? Lol. Really though, kind of disturbed after our latest visit. One Employee was rather sarcastic and rushing when my child didn’t know what to order. She doesn’t really understand the difference in the types/cuts of meat etc. I would suggest a little more training for a few of the employees as they are lacking any real customer service skills. Mainly suggesting they should be willing to help or explain things to anyone with any questions or needing assistance. Also just a quick TY to the team member that advised the other they should reconsider being so disrespectful to other people, especially their children. That’s very important. Anyhow, moving on to the food. I believe it is acceptable and comes with a variety of side items available normally, but also on few occasions items may be too cool when picking up your order. Overall, we’d rate a generous 3 stars. As always, this could change with only minor improvements as mentioned above.

She gave us time to order, listened and repeated our order, greeted us at the window, thanked us, and gave us the freshest food we have ever received at any KFC!! Never in all the times that I’ve ordered here, have I gotten what I ordered. Always a completely different meal and price. At this point, it’s a surprise. Spicy Chicken Sandwich gets you a full combo big box meal and a surprise drink.
