TERRIBLE SERVICE AND OUT OF CHICKEN. It takes them about 12-15 minutes to get you a simple chicken sandwich during peak lunch time. After our 2 bad experiences, I called ahead and asked if she did had chicken sandwiches to which she said I have 2 fillets. And I asked if they had buns, because they don’t always have buns. She said yes. There’s usually only 1 to two people working and I rarely even see chicken in the warmer that’s available for people to get thank you so much. Unlike papees and other chicken places. There were only 2 cars total in the drive through and we both had to pull up into a parking spot and waited about 12-15 minutes to get our food. The 2 times I went before this, they told me they had no buns so I left. Not sure what they would do if they were busy. They can barely get out one simple chicken sandwich in a timely fashion. Its not hard to see why KFC has fallen so far from being the king of chicken decades ago. They have good fiod but terrible service. The sandwich and mashed potatoes and gravy I finally got was very, very good. They just can’t figure out how to run a restaurant.

I got up at 8 AM this morning. I drove over 150 miles today round-trip and had a very long day.
I checked on Google how late my local KFC was open and it said 10 PM
All I wanted after a long day and not eating anything was a great tasting meal
I absolutely love their chicken, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and gravy and potato wedges
I pulled up to the drive-through at 9:47 PM
I ordered a chicken tender meal and I was told that they didn’t have any chicken
I was very puzzled how a chicken place runs out of chicken
I asked them if they didn’t have any chicken at all or if they didn’t have any made
The lady told me there was none and I asked her how long it would take to make. She told me it would take over 20 minutes to cook me chicken and she was closing in 10.
I asked to speak to the manager and she told me she was the manager
That manager needs to be fired. She apparently does not understand that the customers are the ones who give her a paycheck each week.
Customer Service is deplorable at Best
We Drove up and asked for the number to corporate. We were told to look it up.
Upon driving up and asking them, my husband saw bags packed on the tables like the employees were taking chicken home
I’m pretty sure they are stealing And they definitely aren’t doing their jobs, right
We love KFC and seriously think it is underrated. However, this location sucks

This KFC never has fried chicken made or offers to make fried chicken when we order no matter the time of day. We can never order two breast and a leg, not at 2pm, 4p, 5:30p, 6p, or 8pm because they simply do NOT have it or offer to fix it. Last time, they couldn’t make the chicken nor did they have a pot pie. I’m done trying at this location. Never in my years have I so consistently been to a chicken place that did not have basic fried chicken options available at all, not even with a wait to prepare it (just out). It was our loyalty to the brand that allowed us the patience to try them out so many times.

We love KFC but something has gone very very wrong at the location at 17750 Aprile Dr. in Land O’Lakes Fl. We’ve had three bad experiences in a succession at this location.
In the most recent experience:
– We placed an order on the app at around 8:30 pm for pick-up.
– We arrived at the store drive-thru at 8:43 and were informed that the Chicken Tenders were unavailable because the chicken fryers were turned off. (The store is supposed to operate until 10:30) We were asked to wait 15 minutes for the fryers to heat up.
– We said we could not wait that long and were offered a chicken sandwich instead, which we accepted. However we asked for a refund of the $3+ difference in price . The employee said they WOULD NOT do that and we would need to contact corporate KFC to request refund!
– We requested a substitute item, a Pot Pie, and were told we would have to pay MORE due to a price difference!!, even though there is an active offer for a $2 Pot Pie as an add-on!
Third problem in a row at this store. Corporate needs to intervene and clean house.

I ordered through the app, drove over, and was told there’s “no chicken cooked” and I should wait 15 minutes. When I asked to cancel, the drive‑thru attendant admitted the KFC app is run by a third party and she couldn’t cancel it. My choices were wait or go chase KFC myself.
So I waited. Ten minutes later, the food is literally shoved at me with a flat “here.” Boxes open, sloppy packaging, zero apology, zero care. It’s hard to overstate the chaos: no product ready, no process for app orders, no customer service, and no basic standards.
If this is normal for this location, it explains a lot. Disorganized, indifferent, and careless from start to finish. KFC should be embarrassed to have its name on this place.

Disgusting . Like gross. The chicken is undercooked, they never have crispy, the 8 pc nugget didn’t come with the proper type or amount of chicken, the nuggets taste like chemicals, the Mac n cheese tastes like there’s fruit loops inside, and the curds are cold and have no cheese. Oh! Also, the bowls come with less food than my 4 year olds meal. Don’t waste your time or money. Third chance in 2 years and management couldn’t give a care. Never again!

literally spent 35 mins waiting for an eight piece of chicken. no sides, no drinks, no biscuits.
just an eight piece count of chicken. i can understand if you sold a variety of items but waiting 35 mins for chicken at a restaurant that ONLY sells chicken is insane.
worst experience i can actively recall in last 5 years minimum, would no recommend. better off going to zaxby’s or chick-fila or publix, literally anywhere else.

You will regret going here. Unfortunately I did not check reviews as most people don’t for fast food. Ordered through the app from home. Arrived 20 minutes later and restaurant was empty, employees just standing around talking. I asked about my order and they said there wasn’t one, then said it just arrived but they didn’t have any chicken cooked (yes, really), but that they would start to cook some and it would be at least 15 minutes. Staff apologized but said it happens all the time. She said I could call next time to see if they have chicken before ordering. How do you run a business like that? I would have cancelled but already paid through the app. The entire time I waited, not one customer came in store or through drive through, 630 pm on a Saturday. Apparently others knew. Even though I was the only one there for 30 minutes, the order still had items missing. Additionally, when Justin handed me the order, he proudly talked about how crispy he made the chicken, and I reminded them that we requested original recipe, which he said it was, but it was not. it was very hard and crunchy. Never again for me. Go elsewhere.
