I visited the located in Kinston on my lunch break. The manager working drive thru seemed very agitated when I inquired about menu prices and deals. I placed my order from the value menu and asked to add a drink. I was told at the order screen my order total was 5.34, when I approached the window I was then told my order was 8.34 because I added a soft drink. Once I returned to work my food did not look fresh. My chicken looked like it had been cooked in grease that had not been filtered in three days and ultimately made me sick. My mash potatoes were cold as well. I have worked in the food industry and it does get frustrating. However with courtesy, and proper preparation it can be a rewarding experience. I love KFC but this by far was the worst experience I ever had.

Went to the local Kinston North Carolina KFC couple days ago. It took me two days to come down from being so pissed to write this review. Well when I got to the store. There was no cars in line. I had been tasting KFC all evening. So I ordered a three-piece white meat Big box meal. I wanted one breast original and the other breast and wing extra crispy. The gentleman took my order I then drove up to the window to pay. After getting to the window to pay he took my card and deducted for the order. After waiting about 2 more minutes. The gentleman then comes back to the window and tell me that they have no white meat chicken ready original nor extra crispy. He then tells me that there will be a six minute wait. So I told him I would wait. After waiting about 7 minutes from the time he told me. He then comes back to the window and asked me could I please pull forward and wait for my order. I proceeded to do as he asked. So while I’m waiting there was another three cars that came through the drive-thru behind me. Apparently what they ordered were not ready either. Because they all pull forward to wait also. About 20 minutes later. The lady asked me if I could move my car forward a little bit more. Actually I thought she was coming to bring my food. But was I surprised. Then 4 minutes later I see her coming to the door with three bags. So I said finally. She walks to my car ask me if I ordered to a piece box of chicken. I told her no that I had ordered the three pieces meal big box. She then took the two eight piece ordered and gave it to the car behind me. Then the second order she had in her hand she gave it to the car behind them. Mind you there was another car which was the third car waiting over in the parking lot. You went back into the store and brought out their order. By this time I had already been waiting over 25 minutes for my order. All of those cars had left. And I’m still sitting there. By this time I’m fumling mad.

They are slow at night, and you still have to wait a while. Being short on inventory and unable to complete the order doesn’t help either. This is the second time this has happened at this location.

Ok, went there ordered, paid left got home missing a piece of chicken and biscuit, went back, told them what was missing and the rudest nastiest service you ever will see. Gave me the chicken and biscuit biscuit not even done lol an promise you it won’t get eaten cause they probably spit on it too will be giving my feed back at contact us. Just no more pride in doing a job

Couldn’t tell you the last time I ate at KFC. Now I know why I don’t go there. The service was good. The lady at the window was so nice. I got my food and went back to work. When I sat down, I of course was looking at the food, checking it out. Took a bite of the Mac and cheese and then picked up a nugget and broke it in half and it wasn’t even cooked fully. Still pink and mushy. Are you serious? You could of gave me food poisoning! It made me sick to my stomach knowing I took a bite of the food ,where raw chicken was laid on top of. I didn’t even go back because I definitely didn’t want anymore food and I wasn’t going to make a fuss with any of the employees. Train your employees to do their job properly. I know you should be temping your food. Hope nobody got sick off there food today!

Ordered a 16pc family meal extra crispy… got home and discovered it was original recipe. We ate it anyways. But the service was great and the young man that brought it out to me was polite and friendly.
