I bring an elderly friend into this store a few times a week to eat in during the evening. His choice, not mine. Suppose a dipping sauce or side item is missing from the tray left on the counter. It can then take 10-15 minutes to get the item they “forgot”. You call out, wave to the employees…feel like you are bothering them. Sometimes they’ll hold up a finger as in just a minute. And then they just serve the drive-thru customers instead.
Can anything be done about this? My friend has been going to this location for many years and is about 80. But we may have to stop going to KFC. Your food gets cold if you have to get the missing items as well. Since dine-in is almost completely ignored. So then once you get the missing bread or sauce etc you then feel like you should return the order to have it remade. If this happens again I will demand the entire large order is replaced. I feel like I’d need to bring a bullhorn to ask for service up front as the kitchen area is loud and some of the people are 15-25 feet away. If I do so, I will certainly video tape the terrible service at the Bragg KFC.
Does KFC corporate realize this, or the store owner? I do not want to stress out my friend, but I would have ditched this place long ago. But as noted I am trying to help the guy out, he is isolated and it is good for him to get out of his house and go to a familiar place. I have already had the talk with him that we may have to go somewhere else. If we have to leave the store irritated yet again I will not bring him there any longer.
I included an older picture from a news article.
Here is a new PIC…their Food Inspector rating is poor. They cannot wash up or wash the equipment properly. The chicken is undated (means they sell expired meat). And the Soda machines nozzles are dirty. Maybe they just mopped…since the inspector missed the water to either side of the soda machine. My friend almost slipped on that recently.
UPDATE 2-19-26: Very aggressive homeless person bothering customers..arguing with a customers as my elderly friend and I ate in. Staff does nothing. Panhandler remains and later starts bothering us. I run him off. He argues with me wanting scraps from our dinner. I say no and throw them out. When I went to staff who was outside the kitchen they said they would tell management. I go back to my friend who said he was afraid so he gave the person 4.50 when I had left him to contact store staff. I told the guy something like leave us alone and we left. He then went thru four garbage can in the store as staff did nothing. Can KFC please either fix dine-in or close the doors. Thank you.

Who runs this store?
Awful experience. The person working the register today has a horrible attitude and was very argumentative. I asked for a big box and she rang it up she said 2 piece and that’s when I politely told her I wanted the 3 piece. Her irritation immediately showed and finished rushing through the order. My plate came up and I stood there a couple minutes waiting for my cup and to inform them I wanted extra crispy. The cashier instantly said I know I asked him. The only thing she asked was about the sides. I usually do the drive through, but with customer service like this I don’t think I will be back to this location. Food was delicious.
When I get back to Fayetteville I definitely will be visiting again.
