Our experience at this store was completely unacceptable with regards to customer service as well as cleanliness. There was not one single table which was clean in the dining area. In addition to simple crumbs and uncleanliness on the table tops, there was a biscuit in a chair and chicken bones on the floor in the dining room. There were no lids available, we had to ask for them. A young man in the dining room was emptying the trash and overheard our conversation about the lack of clean tables and lids but did not attempt to assist us. He, instead, continued with the trash, a task which took him approximately 13-15 minutes to complete. When we arrived there was only one party of 4 in the dining room. Our food took more than 15 minutes to be prepared, during which time an additional 2 customers entered the store and there were NO employees on the front line for more than 5 minutes. We witnessed 2 employees returned from a smoke break in a vehicle outside and did not wash their hands upon re-entering the store. The 2 parking spaces closest to the door of the restaurant were occupied by employees. The restrooms smelled of urine and the parking lot was littered with trash. This restaurant did not seem to be short employees, they just did not seem to have customer service as a priority. Very disappointing for two of our favorite chain restaurants. Would not recommend until management issues have been addressed. Attached photo was taken inside the restaurant.

Yesterday evening, 6/25/23, I ordered an 8-piece nugget meal. The nuggets were dark/overcooked, shriveled and rock hard. I went through the drive thru to request new food and was asked to wait for 4 minutes. I waited for ~10 minutes and the replacement nuggets I received were almost as overcooked. It was clear, by the taste and color of the food/oil in the food container, the cooking oil should have been changed some time ago. I was disappointed to have paid $8 and some change to get such poor quality food. I hope better measures will be put in place to ensure optimal quality with overall food customer service. Food like that should never be served to customers – especially twice in the same encounter.

Terrible , greasy and small portions . Could not tell between extra crispy and original. The grease is rancid and nobody seems to care. Quality control isn’t the priority it is profit and the sad thing about it is it has become the new norm. The price has doubled in the past few years and quality has gone way down.

None of the three “employees” were eager to take our order even though we were the only 2 customers inside. No one was at the drive thru. After being ignored for three minutes we left for Moe’s and were warmly greeted by a well trained staff.

Usually KFCs are great, however today when we visited the one in Flatwoods WV, they only had wings in original recipe available and the extra crispy pieces were dry (meat) and the crunchy coating was soggy – like they had been in the heater for way too long. The chicken strips were also dry, not totally covered in coating, and overdone. It was very disappointing and not indicative of our experiences at other KFCs.

Food is okay if you get what you ordered and it is edible. Drive thru time is extremely slow.and the people (workers)are not friendly there at all. Some have extremely long dirty nails and in food service nails are to be kept cut short and clean. Hair is to be in hair nets if your in the kitchen. McDonald’s even does that. Floors were so slick I almost fell and bathrooms were unclean. I will NEVER eat/order food here again. I was never so disgusted.
