For as short staffed as they were that was 1 of the quickest waits I’ve ever encountered in a k.f.c! The food man listen the food was hot hot, it’s cold out and it was still hot after my walk to the bus. Amazing service and food!
Service was good, very attentive. Once she heard us speaking spanish, she quickly made the switch to communicate with us in the same language.
Food was good, well done, crispy chicken sandwich and 3 piece chicken with fries. We were given extra plates for the meal being shared. The only downside, coleslaw it takes 24 hours to make. ♀️
It was not crowded. Plenty of places to park.
It’s also located walking distance to outlet area. But most are vacant. It is a drive away for Tanger, Kohls, Target among others.
Worth Exploring!
I made it to the drive through window around 5:48PM (only two other vehicles in front of me from the time I had arrived). The drive thru attendant took my card for payment and handed it back a minute later. Meanwhile, looking into the kitchen, back of house area, there are team members leisurely walking around and others pacing back and forth. One individual was eating a bag of chips while sitting on the main counter (typically used as the counter between the dining area/lobby and kitchen, the lobby was closed).
At 5:50PM, I was asked by the same attendant who took my payment, “did you order a Coke”. I stated no and that I had only ordered the Family Pack meal. She didn’t say anything further and simply closed the window.
At 5:52PM another attendant came to the window and asked me what I had ordered. I stated that I had ordered the Family Pack meal and reiterated what was to be included. She stated, “is that what you paid for?” I said, “yes”, and waved my receipt for verification.
They closed the window once more. By 5:54PM I was frustrated and waved my hand to get the attention of the attendant inside. I stated that I had been waiting for nearly 20 minutes for my food and was not willing to wait any longer and that I wanted a refund. The attendant stated that they were not able to provide a refund as they were not the manager. I asked to speak to the manager or supervisor. At that time, I was informed that there was no manager or supervisor working and that a thumbprint of the manager is required to give a refund. I asked for the name of the manager and was told her name is Jazmin. Looking at my receipt, it states the cashier who took my order was Jazmin (not sure why the manager, Jazmin, is listed as the cashier when she is not actually working).
After being denied my refund, they brought me a bag of food at 5:56PM. I took the food I had been given and pulled ahead. Unfortunately, I did not confirm my order was correct (rookie mistake) as I simply wanted to get out of there. Upon getting home (4 minute drive), I opened the bag and realized I was missing my hushpuppies and French fries. One of my four pieces of chicken was only 2-1/2″ in length. Not sure what the quality control on this is but I would have been frustrated had I ordered a stand-alone or added piece of chicken for $2 and received this. I had assumed the reason for the 20+ minute delay in getting me my order was because they were making fresh food. To my surprise, both the chicken and the fish looked and tasted as if it had been sitting there all day (shriveled up, dried out, and cold).
This is a very poorly run operation and was a waste of 20+ minutes of my time and $25+ as the majority of the food was discarded. I will not be returning to this location and I would hope someone from the corporate level would look into this location as it is a very poor reflection on the business.
