This little building was built and started out as a drive-in burger joint in the 1960’s. Jesse himself bought the business in 1978 and renamed it Jesse’s Drive-In in 1980. For 40 years Jesse and his family remained a staple in the community of Mineral Wells, holding fast to personal small town business ideas and service we all love. Since 2019 Jesse’s has had 2 owners whose sole purpose is to continue Jesse’s legacy of fantastic fresh food for the travelers through and the citizens of Mineral Wells.

If you are traveling through Mineral Wells and you don’t stop here, you are missing the best onion rings I’ve ever had! The burger, the “Texas Burger” was just incredible! Service with a sweet smile, beautiful atmosphere, just like when you were a kid, that little mom and Pop stand, this is it, you found it! A+ 100% 5-Stars. BTW: I was pulling an 18-foot flatbed trailer and I had plenty of room to park. They have plenty of room to park smaller vehicles all around the building, which is clearly marked. The restrooms were really nice and clean, everything was clean. The food was just unbelievably delicious—with a freshly made REAL Chocolate shake!

This small town burger joint comes complete with an atmosphere that reminds you of simpler times. It’s a place where they will greet you like family. The burgers are unashamed and glorious creations that you wouldn’t want to eat while driving (trust me I did and it was a mistake). Get the M-Dub if you’re not afraid to use both hands. Great find ! Loved the food, quick service and the very friendly and welcoming people as well. Felt like family. Super hamburgers and the onion rings were the best I have had in a long time ! Will be back to try the BBQ the next time !!

SUCH a great place! We were staying the weekend and went looking for a good burger – found it!! Workers were very friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious and a fair price. Kids meals and burgers were great. Definitely try the loaded fries!

Update In response to my review…Did you even bother reading my Facebook entry? The entry is below. I have every reason to believe they forgot me. I wasn’t so upset about that as I was that they didn’t even try to make it right. I did ask for a manager. I was told there wasn’t anybody in charge.

RAnT! CAME TO KEYS DRIVE IN for cheeseburger and fries. Arrived at 635. A vehicle pulled in behind me so I was asked to park and they would bring me my food. While waiting 8 more vehicles came to drive in. I watched food being given to the truck that pulled in behind me. Its 711 and im told my order not ready, yet 5 of the other cars had been served. Needless to say I got angry. They told me they hadn’t had any other burgers ordered and that’s why mine wasn’t done yet. I told them bs and just give me back my money. I don’t think I’ll ever go there again.

First thing, the lady taking the order was not only unhelpful but rolled her eyes when asked to change my drink to a to go drink which is offered on the menu.
Second, the smallest hamburger patty for the price of the burger I have ever been given. Frozen, bland crinkle cut fries.
The only good things to come to my table were the onion rings, and the tea. Both were great.

Didn’t want mustard it was on there but I think they wiped it off cuz I can still taste it I ordered a double meat they gave me one Patty and bacon instead of the second Patty and the onion rings were so burnt you could probably smell them in the dining room. They did offer me a refund so I give them that but considering it’s my lunch break don’t have time to go back. I’m giving a one star because all of this was noticeable and they still served it to me burnt onion rings in all. I can understand this mess up with the burger you get busy you get the sling and stuff around and you accidentally put the wrong thing on without noticing. But the burnt onion rings they gave me. That’s what got me and I won’t be back.

This was my first time visiting and the food was amazing. One of the best chili cheese burgers I have had. I have never seen someone able to make a double chili cheese burger look as good as this one and it tasted even better. The staff was very friendly, I asked if they had a chili cheese burger and the one who was cooking spoke up really quickly to let me know he would customize any of the burgers. I will definitely be back.
