What a great find! We loved meeting the owners of this crab food truck—a family who moved from Maryland to open a crab spot just outside of Key West. Super friendly and welcoming. The dad sets crab traps daily, and the mom and son run the business. The crabs are live and steamed to order.
We enjoyed the crabs outside at a picnic table the old-fashioned way—paper on the table, wooden mallets in hand, and a crab meat picker. So fun!
The crabs were incredibly fresh, sweet, and locally caught—absolutely delicious! Bonus: the Sugar Shack next door lets customers use their restroom to wash up, and their locally made lavender ice cream was amazing. A total win-win.
We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the Keys!

We have been getting live blue claw crabs from this amazing local family for years, and they have always been outstanding. We are so excited that they now have a food truck, Key West Blue Crab, located at Mile Marker 15.
We tried a lobster po’boy sandwich while picking up some crabs. Everything was fresh, the roll was perfectly toasted, and the lobster pieces were tender and flavorful. They graciously made it a little less seasoned for me because of medical reasons, which I truly appreciated. The sandwich came with French fries that were crisp, golden, and tasty. Everything was excellent and absolutely delicious, and we are excited to try more items from their menu next time.
The blue claw crabs we got were excellent as well. My mom has enjoyed crabs and spaghetti since she was a little kid, and it was wonderful to have such high-quality seafood at home.
This is a true family-run business, and the family is incredibly kind and welcoming. The food truck is in the parking lot of Sugar Shark, a small grocery and gift shop, right next to Baby’s Coffee.

In 5 years of living in The Keys, this is the best meal that we have ever had!
The food truck sits in the back of The Sugar Shark (a little grocery/gift shop at MM15, right next to Baby’s Coffee) so it is hard to see from the road. But, trust me, it is worth the stop… They even have markers so that you can sign your name on the truck.
My husband and I ordered the Lobster Po Boy and the Crab Cake Sandwich, both with their boardwalk fries. We cut both sandwiches in half and shared them. I never take pictures of my food, but I had to here. You could see the lump crab meat in the sandwich… We sat at one of the picnic tables to enjoy our delicious meals. We worth both blown away by how good it was.

Went here with my husband tonight and boy this place did not disappoint! My husband is from Maryland and we love blue crab, this place made us feel like we are back home! I got the Crab poke bowl and was shocked on the amount of crab i received. I did get mine without the eel sauce but got some sauces on the side which were all great! Highly recommend stopping here! They’re right outside of Sugar Shark 🙂

Who like Blue Crabs like me???? As you all know Im from Philly and blue crabs are the best!!!!! So go see my friends Stacy and her son Dave for your blue crabs needs!!! They can do whole sale for us restraunt owners as well!!! Today I got the blue crab tacos with board walk fries, and couse some crabs!!! They were da bomb!!!! One of the best tacos I have ever had!!!

A must stop for the best Blue Crab around! So good in fact, we had to make a return trip from Marathon midweek! Steamed crabs were seasoned perfectly and crab cake sandwiches were mouth watering accompanied by fries or potato salad. We were thrilled to find some great Blue Crab. My husband fell in love with them way back on Tilman Island, MD and is reports these to be the best!! Great family operation. Thank you for all your attention to detail!

I met the owners who run it. Down to earth nice people. David the Son who does the cooking is top shelf experienced at steaming crabs. I can’t wait to go back. The crabs were very big & heavy. (Jumbo males) I was full on 1 & 1/2 crabs ! That’s unheard of. They were packed. They are my new BEST friends !!! ♥️

As Marylander’s we thought we’d check this place out and drive up from old town on our vacation specifically just to try it. This place didn’t disappoint! Matter of fact, these crabs were some of the best we’ve ever eaten. Seasoned perfectly! We also had an order of crab balls and French fries and they were aLeo amazing. My son had their chicken tenders, since he’s not a seafood fan, and couldn’t believe how good they were. They definitely didn’t taste like something frozen deep fried. The fries were boardwalk style and deep fried to perfection! The only thing I’m sorry about is we didn’t make it up till our vacation was almost over and my hubby is trying to talk me into driving back up tomorrow already!

I am absolutely IN LOVE with all of the food from Key West Blue Crab. Being a Marylander, I always know (at least I think I do) if it’s real blue crab, or if there’s too much filler in a crab cake and these guys are THE REAL DEAL! They season and steam the Blue Crabs perfectly. I literally want to move to Florida to eat their crabs all year round, I’m obsessed with everything but especially the Blue Crab Poke Bowl. I can’t say enough good things about this place, they make you feel like family there, and I can truly say it’s the best food truck I’ve ever been to. Blue Crabs for life!!!!
