“If I could give zero stars I would.”
That was my first review.
The owner called me back today and personally spoke to me and told me something was wrong with the red velvet cake batch they had made that day. She offered me a full refund and a new cake to be ready by tomorrow. She was very friendly and definitely changed my mind about this place. Hopefully the cake is good tomorrow! I’ll update this once we pick it up.
I appreciate the follow up with this company, they definitely care about their customers. I was disappointed, but they are definitely making up for it!!

Everything is excellent! The staff, the service, the shop and the food & drink! We had an americano, a maple matcha latte, a pastrami sandwich, a slice of chocolate lovers cheesecake and a slice of lemon raspberry cake. Everything was great. Even the pickle with the sandwich was one of the best pickles we have had! And the lemon raspberry cake had so much flavor. The cheesecake was delicious, and we are cheesecake snobs! Would certainly recommend and will certainly return!

The staff at Ketchie Creek bakery in Mocksville always exhibit excellent customer service. I am thrilled that they offer gluten free options! The staff, no matter who I ask, patiently, caters to my dietary questions and needs. Every time, I’ve visited, every staff member treats me with kindness and strive to make the experience comfortable and satisfying. The turkey ruben on gluten-ree bread was absolutely delicious. The portions of turkey on the sandwich was unbelievably generous.

They have the best sandwiches. They have the best desserts and pastries. The staff could not be more friendly or helpful. But the layout of the eating area is odd and the hard wooden plywood seats are so uncomfortable. But usually I’m so busy stuffing my face with their delicious food so I don’t complain.

I go out of my way or make sure to stop on my trips up north to buy their amazing bakery items… especially their brownies.. sandwich oatmeal cookies and cake slices. I usually get one of their varieties of sandwiches and salads to take on the road as well as some sort of treat to bring to family I’m visiting. They always want their awesome coconut cake!! There are many gift items and local honey, jams and the dog cookies go fast!!!

Ketchie Creek is awesome. As of this posting their health department score is 100 – very impressive. Their facility reflected that rated. It was very well kept during our visit. Not only do they offer a variety of coffees, cookies, brownies, cupcakes, cakes, and pastries, they have a deli section and many different gifts. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. Sign on the door says the deli closes at 4 on Saturday’s. The coffee menu shows that they offer oat and almond milk for nondairy milk options. I inquired about nondairy dessert options and the attendant was very knowledgeable and kind. I had the frosted brownie for this and was very pleased with it. This is a wonderful bakery Mocksville has to offer.
