We’ve been coming here for over a decade – it’s our go-to sushi place. I’ve not been disappointed yet by any dish I’ve ordered – everything is super fresh and if it needs to be hot, it is. They’re usually fairly busy all the time, so service can be a bit hit-or-miss but the food is worth waiting for. I especially like the butterfly roll and the gyōza. My daughter goes for the mango-shrimp roll, and my husband gets whatever tickles his fancy at the moment. It’s not a pretentious place by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s scrupulously clean and very cozy. I’m a very happy customer!

My husband and I went for dinner on a Friday night. The location is in a strip mall next to a Kroger, so plenty of free parking options. It was a little busy but we only waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Friendly staff seated us and took our drink order. We ordered the boiled pork gyoza and the sushi & sashimi love boat. Everything was delicious and the food came fast considering the size of the boat. All the fish was very fresh, melted in my mouth. The service was attentive until we got our food, then they appeared to be tasked with other duties. We saw a lot of pickup/ delivery orders going out that the staff was dealing with. Once we got their attention a couple times to give us plates, additional drinks, and the check, they were very friendly. Overall a good experience and I’d go back again but probably not on a Friday night.

Ordered dinner for take out. Steak and shrimp hibachi dinner. Not bad but not the best I’ve ever had. The steak was not flavored and over cooked. The vegetables were better and very flavorful. Rice was also just good. Chicken yakisoba was better than the hibachi. Overall was disappointed based off the 4.7 stars. But I’d be willing to give them another try in the future.

My girlfriend and I came into Kero to eat. When we walked in, no one came to greet us so we could be allowed to eat. It took us nearly walking out for them to even get out of the chair and acknowledge us. After being seated and our order being taken, they brought the food out pretty slow and didn’t even give us napkins or chopsticks. Pretty lackluster over all, I won’t be here again.

Kero is the best! The mushroom soup is amazing and I haven’t found a better one anywhere else! I recommend the beef fried rice if sushi isn’t your thing, but if you are looking for amazing sushi, you can’t go wrong with the angel roll or the rainbow roll. Both are amazing!

Given the rating, we felt it deserved a try. Nope. Sukiyaki was bland and only had cabbage and nondescernable beige meat and veggies. Sukiyaki is usually a flavor explosion, but they are the only ones in the area with it on their menu Both kids meals, yakisoba and katsu tasted greasy and not in a good way. Neither kid would eat their meals. Plus Katsu didn’t come with fries like requested. Sushi was just OK, again lacking flavor. Fairly greasy & tasteless all around. Sorry.

My parents eat here 4 times a week and spend so much money with these people. I always have a good experience but last week me and my wife we to get something to eat and it was AWFUL. The food was good but the service was super super super bad. The table sat down next to us ordered their food and got it and ate it all and paid for their check before we even took a bite of food. HOW TERRIBLE. The folks ordered a whole sushi boat and ATE IT ALL before we even put anything in our mouths. Then i had to ask for EVERY refill. Then I had to ask for the check. Then i had to ask for a box. Really bad experience. It was so bad i could keep going and going. I got my 3 rolls and ate them before MY WIFE GOT HER 1 ROLL OF SUSHI. I felt so bad i shared my food with her because HER 1 ROLL TOOK A HOUR TO MAKE. I told the lady my experience was terrible and I SWEAR TO GOD…. SHE LAUGHED AT ME LIKE IT WAS A JOKE. Terrible terrible terrible

Excellent customer service. The waitress was hilarious. She came out to the table with our second order of tempura shrimp and vegetables and said “We had a change of chefs, this chef was skinny so the shrimp are skinny.” LOL love it! The volcano roll was amazing and the ginger house salad was great. The rainbow roll was a little off from what I would expect. It wasn’t as cold as you would expect from fresh sushi but it was alright. This was a great experience, considering our regular place was closed tonight. Thanks Kero Sushi! 😀

I feel really cheated by Google Reviews right now. I’m not understanding why Kero has an almost 5 star rating, it was really gross. Our hibachi was swimming in water. The tuna in one of our sushi rolls was brown. I know this doesn’t always mean the tuna is spoiled, but it did smell fishy & it was chewy. You can see in the photo that I tried to bite it & it’s like leather. Service isn’t bad, but also not very good. We did feel a little rushed. Server may forget utensils & if you asked for something. All in all, being there just made us want to go home lol. Won’t be giving it another try.

The food here is excellent, but we always get stuck ordering the same thing, the angel roll and hibachi chicken. The house salads and miso soup are also delicious. The wait staff is very kind and attentive. One of the few places left that lets you fill in the tip without the waiter standing over you with their wireless payment scanner.
