I am genuinely disappointed writing this because I’ve been a regular at Kerby’s for a long time, but after this visit, I will never be coming back.
All I wanted was a coney dog and fries meal. literally the most basic thing on the menu. What I got instead was a complete nightmare. While waiting for my food, I could see the cook preparing orders with bare hands, touching the food directly. No gloves. No care. That alone made me uncomfortable, but it somehow got worse.
When my food came out, there was hair all over it. Not just one strand but multiple. At that point, I lost my appetite completely. There is absolutely no excuse for food being served like that, especially when it’s clearly visible how carelessly it was prepared.
What really bummed me out is that I liked this place. I came here often. I defended it. And now I feel stupid for ever trusting it.
To top it all off, the blonde server behind the counter was smoking, which is beyond unprofessional and honestly disgusting in a food environment. She looked way too young to even be working there and was extremely rude to customers, snapping at people instead of helping them. The entire atmosphere felt chaotic and unsanitary.
Between the hair in the food, bare-handed prep, rude service, and inappropriate behavior behind the counter, this place has gone completely downhill. I left without eating and with zero intention of giving it another chance.

Kirby’s isn’t my first choice but my friend and I came here for a quick bite because it was close and convenient. Our server was fabulous and we both got the gyro meal deal.

I ordered the chili cheese burger, I should have asked if they use frozen premade patties. They just never taste good. On the upside the wife for fish and chips and seemed to enjoy it. Waitress was friendly and helpful. It was almost too quiet inside (could hear the cooks talking)

First time stopping here so I figured I would get the entree that the store is named for. Two Koney’s with mustard and onion, fries and a large drink. The order came out within minutes. My coney dog connoisseur review: The sauce was darker like a chili but had a nice spice. The hotdogs were good but lacked the snap. The bun was soft with the appropriate balance of sauce, onions and mustard. The fries were crisp and hot. Cold drink with prompt refills. It’s not Lafayette but I had no issues with the taste, quality and service. I must of come at a good time. I would return if I’m in the area.

We bring the family here all the time, especially for dinner, and it’s always a great experience. The food’s consistently good comfort food done right and we usually end up with Avery as our server, which is a total win. She’s super friendly, always on top of things, and just has a way of making everyone feel welcome, even on busy nights. It’s one of those places where you feel like a regular fast. Highly recommend!

As many times as I have been in this plaza, I’ve never noticed this Kerby. Well, that changed today & it will become a go-to! The waitress had lots of suggestions & thankfully her best was zucchini fries! YAAAASSSS! Be sure to get some with your order! They come with T-ziki sause. My newest guilt free obsession!

Came for a quick meal. Everyone was very nice and food was as you’d expect. Place is clean and in a nice location. Waitress was very patient while listening to my four year old detail exactly how he wanted his hotdog.

Kerby’s is a favorite for breakfast and brunch. The service is always fast and the food is always good. Personal favorites are the gyro, coney dogs, and omelettes.
