If you’re craving authentic South Indian flavors with a rich Kerala touch, the Kerala Spice Grand Buffet is a must-visit! The buffet offers a mouthwatering spread of traditional Kerala dishes — from perfectly spiced fish curry to creamy and flavorful biryanis. Every dish bursts with homemade taste and aromatic spices.
The dosa is a highlight, and the dessert section with payasam and halwa rounds off the meal beautifully. The ambiance is warm, and the staff are attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves bold, authentic Indian flavors and wants to explore the rich culinary heritage of Kerala in one grand setting!

I ordered a chicken dum biriyani takeaway from this spot, the pricing is reasonable and is also at a convenient spot with a large parking lot out front. Disappointingly, the biriyani was dry and lacked flavors. They brand it as “Kerala spice,” but it is nothing Malayali about it—nothing about it screams Kerala. While the place has ample seating, I can’t comment on the dining experience as I only got takeout. Based purely on my chicken biriyani experience, I’d recommend looking for better options elsewhere.

Firstly, its NOT a kerala restuarant! Although the name board says Kerala Spice, there are other nameboards below that which reads Bengal Spice, Hyderabadi Spice and Tamil Spice!!
It is 2.15pm now and I came here at 12.45pm ordered a chole batura, a thali and chicken 65 and a tea. After 1hr, they told the chai will take another 30mins! Remember, its just a chai.
What you see below is chicken 65! Yeah they got me a biriyani and I said its a biriyani and not chicken 65. The guy still kept claiming it was chicken 65! Since he didnt look Indian, I didnt argue further.
I said I have a flight to catch in 2hrs and you can cancel the thali since it was already 90mins since it was ordered. There are just 4 customers in the restuarant.
I realized later why the chai and other dishes take 1.5hrs to come. They will not start making those dishes until they probably have a minimum 3 or 4 orders for that dishes! I left that place cancelling the rest of the order.
I still hadnt got my tea!

Bad food and very bad customer service, this place says it is an authentic Kerala cuisine but it when I ordered malabar paratha and Chicken karma they gave me uncooked frozen paratha and half cooked chicken curry, when I called them back the customer service is so bad where the owner wants the pictures of food from trash. So here you have the pictures of uncooked paratha.

first of all, love that their takeout containers come wrapped in cling wrap so they can’t spill! even the rice was wrapped shut. portions are good, one order is easily enough for two people or two separate servings. spice levels are on point (mild, medium, etc) and just what you hope they’ll be. the naan pieces are HUGE and come wrapped in tons of heavy foil to keep them warm. all in all, delicious food and great for takeout. service staff is nice and friendly, and greet you the moment you walk in.

This is not a kerala hotel. it has no kerala items and none tasted good. chutney was from the fridge and sambar very bad. Very very bad experience. Chef to be fired and person who advertise it as kerala spice should be sued.

Ordered Ghee rice and tandoori chicken. The order was delivered 1.5 hours delayed and the most frustrating part it is it was saltless. The ghee rice did not have salt at all. The tandoori chicken had small pieces. The taste was also not good. I was not happy with the food service provided. I wanted to go back and return the food but we were so hungry as it was already 1.5 hours delayed we had to have the food.

So, we wanted to go to Udupi to eat Dosa. Since both Udupi locations were closed, we searched for Dosa and found this place was open. OMG, I have not savored such an authentic sambhar and Ghee dosa in a long time. We are from Atlanta. And we hv Madras Chettinad who serves eclectic Dosa in Atlanta. This one surpasses Madras Chettinad. Any visitor from out of town, please give them a try. You will not regret. Bye bye Udupi and Woodlands. The salted lassi was great and filling too!!
