Their pani puri is very good, probably one of the best I’ve ever tried in the U.S. Really authentic flavor. The pani puri server, Vishnu, is a cool guy who engages with customers. Would definitely recommend this place for chaat type of food. Dahi puri/papdi chaat is also yummy. Atmosphere could be a bit more organized and cleaner though.

I have order haleem and chicken Fry Pulav and the food was disaster .. chicken pieces smell bad .. it’s stale food .only the pulav rice is fresh but tasteless and bland..very much disappointed with spoiled food .

Update : I had originally left a review due to being served spoiled food, which in itself is completely unacceptable. However, what followed was even more concerning. When I contacted the restaurant to address the issue, the owners did not take responsibility or offer a sincere apology. Instead, I was told I would only receive a replacement if I changed or removed my negative review.

This is not just poor customer service — it’s unethical. Attempting to manipulate honest feedback rather than addressing the problem shows a complete lack of accountability and professionalism.

Restaurants should care about food safety and customer trust. This experience shows neither. I’m sharing this so others can make informed decisions. I will not be altering or removing my review under pressure.

I’m also attaching pics of the trashed food and the receipt

Had the best pani puri here !
I’ve ordered 2 plates panipuri, I thought they’re gonna serve all puri at once on a plate.. but no; they served us in a traditional standing way, with a bowl in my hand filled with diced onions. I think the same person (Vishnu) who made the panipuri, serves us. He’s a nice guy; polite and generous
A must try panipuri place ❤️

I ordered chicken fried rice, but I guess I should just call it “colored rice with onions.”
No flavor, no seasoning — just disappointment in a bowl. I came in hungry and left hungry too! And the best part? It’s supposed to be CHICKEN fried rice, but I felt like I was on a treasure hunt looking for chicken pieces.

Overall — bland food, zero taste, and absolutely not worth the money.

Ordered a full bird tandoori chicken and was very concerned by the excessive artificial food coloring. The color stained our hands and wouldn’t come off even after multiple washes. For health reasons, we had to throw away the remaining food. This is especially unsafe for kids. The restaurant seriously needs to improve food safety and avoid such practices.

Food is not good. Customer service is the worst. The owner himself is very rude . We have ordered online and paid with the credit card. We have been using the same card for years. The problem comes from only this store. The order is always put on hold saying they have to verify the credit card personally. When we ask the same question to the owner he repeatedly says they wants to verify it is valid card or not, but not giving the reject code. He didn’t even why our card is getting hold every time and no answer for that. I even called my credit card company, they don’t see any rejection from their sides. it is just the way they take online orders and hold until they manually verify the card info. It is just a way to make customers wait and irritate. The owner has no respect for individual and he didn’t even care about our business or he didn’t even want your business. The food is very disgustful. The raitha is just a bit of yogurt and mixed with lots of water, no onions no cilantro. The biryani gravy looks like a rasam. The mutton is not cooked properly. I have been living in frisco area for more than 20 years and I have been eating indian food for years and going to indian restaurants for years. but I never had this kind of bad experience. Just save your time and mental peace just avoid going there.

Been going to Desi Bites since I moved to Frisco and I absolutely love their food. It’s properly authentic.

The chaat section is really what keeps me coming back though—it tastes exactly like what you’d get in India and literally every single item hits the spot.

Also, I have to mention Arun and Vishnu at the chaat counter. We’re basically friends at this point! They are such a pleasure to interact with and just make the whole vibe of the place so much better. 10/10 recommend.

There is no limit to the number of mom and pop Indian restaurants here in the DFW area. However, Desi Bites stands out among the crowd. The flavor profile of the food here is incredible and each bites comes with a burst of aromas. All of the food is made with balanced spices.

We ordered the mutton biryani, sukka chicken, pepper chicken, and pani puri. All came out tasting great, except the biryani could have been a bit more moist. The pepper chicken special was a personal favorite. Make sure to get the spicy level for the pani puri… It will make you sweat! Highly recommend this spot.

The restaurant delivers delicious and fulfilling vegetarian and non-vegetarian thalis with well-balanced flavors and substantial serving sizes. The vegetarian thali is cozy and homey, whereas the non-vegetarian thali is distinguished by its rich gravies and delicate meat.
The Irani chai with maska bun is a must-try: expertly made tea served with a soft, creamy bun. Overall, a fantastic spot for a nutritious dinner and a traditional chai experience.

I tried the Mandi offer Nalli Gosh along with chicken juicy and Mutton juicy both were really good. The meat was tender, flavorful and perfectly cooked. The rice was aromatic and the juicy meat well.
