I had kerla beef curry, 2 parotha and 1 masala chai.
Masala Chai fresh and enough for 2 people to share.
I asked for some onions and green chilies, i was told it’s extra. Aunty gives it free. ( onions and green chilies fresh cut. )
Total bill roughly 28$ something plus tips close to 33$ ( worth it )
Location: Gas station parking lot. Limited tight or enough parking sharing with other businesses, depending on the time of the day.
Inside : Nice clean and well decorative. Restroom clean. Very clean.
Food: Beautiful, excellent and very tasty. Yum Yum Yummy like home-cooking.
Service: Now that’s the best part. Aunty is extra nice and sweet and polite. Her son who helps at weekends also very nice and polite . You will love him. Uncle stays in the kitchen.
I’ll go back : Yes. Like I said it’s little much for my budget but it’s delicioussss and worth every penny.

This place was so good! I was able to easily make the Aloo Palak vegan by not getting cream and it was still very tasty! I’ll definitely be back to try other things!

The authentic Kerala cuisine taste & the homely service provided was absolute best!! We were actually driving down from Charlotte and just managed to reach in time when they were closing for afternoon break. Hearing we drove down all the way they were gracious enough to accommodate us and made us feel like we visited some relatives’ home. Everything we tried from Kappa, fish curry, beef fry, beef curry, porotta, fish fry, beef cutlet, appam was all top notch!! Highly recommended for all Indians who want to get a taste of Kerala food & all non-Indians who want to try some authentic Indian food!!

The meal truly felt like home. The taste was so authentic and comforting — just like food back in Kerala. Every bite brought back beautiful memories and made me feel so happy and nostalgic.

If you’re craving real Kerala flavors, this place won’t disappoint. So grateful to have found a little piece of home here. ❤️

Let me just say this, I personally do not like Indian food, my husband is the biggest fan… me not so much… HOWEVER! We tried this place for the first time and I was so impressed with the amount of flavor!!! Perfect amount of spice. The chicken 65 was DELICIOUS!!!! The goat curry had SO MUCH MEAT in it! This place puts their heart and soul into their food you can tell.

Side note, loved all the little praise for Jesus they had inside their restaurant! Will DEFINITELY be coming back!!!

Kerala family run restaurant and the owners cook themselves. Amazing hospitality and the food tastes authentic. Our favorite was the Kerala Beef Fry! The beef cutlets and samosas were good too. Highly recommend!

Amazing place and food.
Order Malabar parotta and beef ularthu.
Also order all parotta at once so they can make it at once.
You wont be disappointed if you are looking for home made kerela food.

I got the veggie samosas, and they had a great flavor on their own; the two sauces that came with them really complemented them well. The garlic naan was soft and buttery. The goat curry was delicious as well. I got a 6/10 spice and it was a little much, but if i had gotten a 4 or 5 i think i would have liked it a lot more. The portions of the goat curry and rice i got were for about 2-3 people depending on how much each eats. They cater to larger groups and catering. Their food is really fresh and is very clearly made to order, so expect a decent wait (20-35 minutes for me) for meals to come out because they need time to cook it. Due to this much of their posted menu is not available without proper notice or through catering, so I would make sure to call up and check to see what is needed to get certain items. The man taking my order explained this all well and was kind. He even gave me recommendations for sides and warned about portion sizes. Overall the food is high quality, fresh, and delicious. The service was very nice and it had a very homely feel to the whole experience.

Food – 3/5
Customer service – 0/5
Ambience – 2/5

Customer service is a huge opportunity as the guy in the cap makes extremely insensitive and stereotypical comments. Good food is probably the only reason this place still survives and like many people in the reviews have already mentioned, their prices vary on the physical menu and after you get billed.

Normally I don’t get on Google and complain about any business. My experience with Kerala Kitchen on Scenic Hwy was quite unpleasant. Their fraudulent business practice pushed me beyond my patience which made me write this review. Earlier this year (2025), we discovered this South Indian restaurant near by our house.

* We went there and ordered Beef cutlet at the beginning of this year (2025). In the menu it shows $4 for a piece. When I placed an order, the lady behind the register said you must order 2, can’t order 1. which comes to $8 for 2. Nowhere on the menu is this specified. I let it go and didn’t think much of it. I thought I might have misunderstood it.

* Back in March (2025) we ordered chicken 65 to take out. In the menu it shows $11 but they charged $15 when asked about it, they stated, it hasn’t updated in online yet. I paid and thought it could happen.

* In the summer of 2025 my wife and I went in for dine in. Ordered dosa and beef cutlet, and again I had to order 2. I was upset but still paid.

* The most recent incident has been too much to bear. We ordered 6 dosa, 1 chicken 65 over the phone to take out. When I went to pay, the chicken 65 was charged $17. The menu as of now still shows $11. Living in Georgia for the past 22 years there are no Indian restaurant charges this ridiculous amount of price for chicken 65. No Indian, Pakistani, or Bengali restaurant charges this much for chicken 65.

* For 6 dosas I was charged $63.00 and for 1 chicken 65 $17. As of now, in the menu Masala dosa are listed as $6.50 (6.50 x 6= 39.50) They charged $63, which was $10.50 per Masala dosa.

* And then on top of that they added 1 non-cash discount of $3.20. + tax $4.80 bringing the total to $88.00.

That means everybody that is paying with card they are charging additional money. Normally for the cash transactions, restaurant charges less but at Kerala Kitchen when paying with credit cards there’s additional money charged in the name of “discount”. To these dishonest people discount has reverse meaning.

Based on the menu price the total should have been $53.53 with tax. Where they charged me $34.47 extra. How is this a fair business practice? How much fraud and dishonest can a business be? On a daily basis they are ripping off people.

While waiting for the food I could hear someone coughing in the kitchen. I paid and got the damn food. We had food poisoning overnight. Literally diarrhea until the morning. Besides the unhygienic food. The fraudulent charges just made me extremely furious. Because of this dishonesty, businesses get lawsuits.

They attract you with lower priced items and then when you go to pay it’s a different price. This is just an example from 3 items, beef cutlet masala dosa and chicken 65. Who knows what other items they are over charging at the register. Be very careful with this restaurant. On a daily basis these fraudsters are ripping off people. I have attached my copy of the most recent and screenshot of the menu as it shows the prices online.
