What concerned me the most was seeing meat that looked expired or not fresh. The color and condition just didn’t seem right, and when you’re buying food, especially meat, you expect it to be handled and checked carefully. I brought this up to one of the staff members, hoping they would take it seriously or at least explain what was going on. Instead, I was met with a bad attitude and a dismissive response, which made the whole situation feel even worse.
I believe customer service and food safety should be top priorities for any grocery store. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t meet those basic expectations. I really hope the management looks into the cleanliness, product quality, and how staff interact with customers, because this place could be much better if these issues were addressed.
The smell inside the restaurant is unbearable, like old grease and spoiled food. It’s honestly concerning. Even worse, the food tastes old and reheated, especially the meat. The texture and smell of the meat made it very clear it was not fresh. It tasted like it had been sitting around for days.
I’ve given this place multiple chances, hoping it was just a bad day, but it’s the same issue every time: poor hygiene, bad service, and food quality that feels unsafe to eat. No one should be paying for food that smells off and tastes questionable.
Save your money and your stomach. There are far better options that actually care about cleanliness and customers.
PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAOR AND NEVER GO HERE
The employee on duty refused to fulfill the customer’s order, claimed they were “closed” (even though they were still operating), and told me to tell the customer it would take an hour then turned around and started chatting on the phone instead of helping. They’ve also made no effort to substitute items and flat-out said the customer should “just order from somewhere else.”
They even told me to leave the store, showing zero professionalism or interest in helping.
This kind of treatment shows that customer service and respect for delivery partners are not a priority here. If they don’t care about the people supporting their business, it’s no surprise if that business eventually fades away.
I strongly suggest avoiding this location.
During a recent visit on 07Jun 2025 we encountered deeply concerning conduct from the Egyptian employee managing the shop. We requested three pounds of meat, a standard order we have made many times before. The employee refused this request, insisting that only whole legs were available for sale due to the holiday. More alarmingly, he quoted a price that appeared to be significantly inflated (roughly double the typical rate) for the whole leg, citing holiday demand as justification. This is not an isolated incident; we have observed a repeated pattern of this employee:
– Pressuring customers into larger purchases,
– Applying inconsistent/unethical pricing tactics,
– Displaying a lack of transparency when the owner is absent.
While we respect holiday operational adjustments, refusing standard sales and inflating prices beyond reasonable margins is unacceptable. This employee’s conduct undermines the trust and goodwill the owner has built. Many other customers have shared similar frustrations privately, indicating a broader issue affecting your reputation.
Recommendations:
1. The owner should investigate pricing practices and staff conduct during their absence.
2. Clarify holiday sales policies (e.g., minimum quantities) to all customers before transactions.
3. Retrain or reassign staff who disregard fairness and damage customer relationships.
We wish to continue supporting your business but will reluctantly seek alternatives if these unethical practices persist. This feedback is shared in hope of positive change.
