Neighborhood Hawaiian restaurant that offers excellent food and service. Parking can be packed during weekends, but drivers come in and out quickly.
Food/Drink- 5 stars
Everything was excellent. The Mac salad and coleslaw were prepared well. And all their proteins (the pork belly, beef, chickens) were tender and excellent. It’s the definition of a cheat meal though, so expect a food coma. I would opt away from the malasadas though (it was a bit plain)
Service- 5 stars
Food came out quickly and they were decently attentive for being a fast-casual spot
Bottom Line
Great neighborhood spot that will cure your Hawaiian food craving

Really fun staff, I stopped in to pick up my food to-go, they were really kind to me as I waited (only a few minutes) and I was so busy chatting with them I did not check the chicken dish until I got back to my desk. I was glad it was exactly what I ordered and looked amazing, but also was very fresh and really tasty! Looking forward to visiting again with my family, I will for sure be back.

There were a good amount of options and everything we got was awesome! We found the restaurant on Yelp! and decided to give it a try for dinner. It wasn’t too busy at 6:30p on a Thursday. We had a nice clean table to dine in at and there was self serve water. We got the ube horchata was really good and not too sweet which I was happy about. We also got the salmon plate and the chicken katsu plate. Both were quickly made and tasted very fresh. Everything was so delicious and flavorful including the side spam misubis. Anything you get is guaranteed to be a hit. Definitely the place to go for a quick, casual and delicious meal!

The food was great probably one of the best in Orange. I got the garlic furikake chicken for $14 and it was excellent! Staff and atmosphere were great for the location and price.

HAD to stop here before returning to Philadelphia for their AMAZING Hawaiian BBQ! Everything here is DELICIOUS. The pork belly, the beef the chicken! The owner was even so kind as to grant us an order of their pork belly fries which were delicious! 10/10 recommended!

Pork belly fries were a special previously and were SO delicious. They put it in the regular menu but size and quality has suffered. Bummer! Staff is friendly and place is clean though. Haven’t had the plates in a while cuz I’ve just had the pork belly fries the last few times I’ve been. We’ll see about the other food next time. Maybe. I happen to be a regular in the area but Keoni’s in not the only eatery in the center. It was also weird that I wasn’t asked if I was dining in but the people behind me were. The girl just assumed I was leaving or didn’t want me to stick around? Gave me my food to go.

I was visiting from overseas and was looking for somewhere to eat, I heard good things about this place and we had the best lunch – We tried couple of dishes – the chicken furikake and beef ribs were superb. The Pork…. melts in your mouth.. Sooo good. I highly recommend this place, please give it a try and support a new business. We managed to have a chat with the owners and they were very welcoming and nice. Must try if you live local or visiting the area. 5 stars!

Keoni Island Food is hands down my favorite place to grab a bite when I’m craving Hawaiian food. Their menu consists of various delicious dishes such as their popular Garlic Furikake Chicken, Loco Moco, Kalbi, and more. One time, I remember eating here and the guy next to us came up to tell us that it was “the BEST galbi he’s ever had in his life”. If that’s not telling, idk what is! They also serve house-made malasadas! Soft, chewy, and perfectly sweet.
What we ordered:
– Garlic Furikake Chicken Plate
– Kalbi Beef Short Rib Plate
– Garlic Butter Shrimp Plate
– Soy Garlic Glazed Salmon Plate
– Malasadas

I’ve eaten here a few times, and the food is always delicious. The loco moco is really tasty, with generous portions of meat and gravy. The mac salad, with its furikake topping, is some of the best I’ve ever had. It’s a very small restaurant with only a few tables, but as I’ve only ever dined here on weekday afternoons, I don’t have a problem finding a table to sit at. The staff is friendly. Definitely my local go-to place when I want some yummy island eats.

The girls working at front are friendly and pleasant
But are Very dissatisfied with the food. Ordered two chicken BBQ plates. As soon as we opened container we got a whiff of fish. The chicken, and macaroni salad tasted like fish. the BBQ sauce was not even a bit sweet. Why would the help cook chicken without cleaning the grill. Owner of the establishment this will hurt your business.
