Frank’s Kitchen is a true neighborhood gem! We love that it’s so close to home and offers such a wide variety of breakfast and brunch options. From hearty traditional breakfasts to flavorful, authentic Mexican dishes. Everything we tried was delicious, but the highlight was the freshly squeezed orange juice! It’s honestly the best we’ve ever had! Friendly service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere make it the perfect spot for a weekend brunch or a quick morning bite. Highly recommend!

We were looking for something new to try and found them on YELP. It was just an 11 minute ride from our home so that was a plus! Located on the far right end of a small strip mall with a private parking lot, It’s definitely a hole in the wall, but from the moment you walk in you are greeted by the hostess. It was a very warm and family friendly atmosphere. We were seated immediately and our coffee and drinks followed. I was surprised that it’s not just a great breakfast and lunch spot but also has some great Latin dishes. Our waitress was wonderful and on point. I went with a traditional breakfast and for the price it was a very healthy portion. All the prices are reasonable. The sausage patties are huge, the home fries are delicious and the gravy on the country fried steak was amazing. We will definitely be back to this hidden gem and this may be my go to breakfast place during the week because it’s budget friendly. Found a hidden gem!

I am a black woman and I went here to have breakfast with my boyfriend who is white. The entire time we were seated here, everyone (staff and patrons) stared as if they had never seen a black woman before. My boyfriend could feel the tension in the restaurant as well. I dont know if we just came on an off day or something, but it definitely made our experience eating there not as pleasant as we hoped it would be. The food was mediocre, and the service could have been better. I dont think we will be returning.

Hidden Gem in Rural Hall (just outside of Winston Salem) – great breakfast and lunch spot! Owners are so nice and food is incredible. Best priced specials I have seen in a long time! $7 for 2 eggs, bacon and French toast!! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

I’m the type of person where even with a bad experience I will try a place multiple times because I understand we all have off days. My family and I have been here at least 5 times and will probably never be back. Every single time we have come for breakfast and something is wrong with our order. From burnt food to undercooked food. I would rather wait extra time to be served and have my order correct then to rush the order because of how busy it is. It’s frustrating to spend hard earned money in this economy and the food not be eaten and money wasted.
Please slow down and take your time. Stop getting overwhelmed by the amount of people/orders and focus. There is no reason items should be served burnt and or not cooked throughout.

I moved to Rural Hall in the summer of 2024 with my boyfriend. We did what most people do when they move somewhere new: we looked up places to try near our apartment. My boyfriend is Mexican-American, and when we saw that there was a restaurant offering both a Mexican menu and a diner-style menu, we were intrigued. Needless to say, we enjoyed ourselves immensely. We soon started bringing our friends every weekend. It was a place that guaranteed good food, good people, and good prices.
We all started writing Google reviews, which is not something we usually do, but we enjoyed our experience there so much that we just had to share it. We were even featured on Instagram for our reviews and got to speak with the owners and staff. The service is always efficient, the food is consistently delicious, and their range of food options is comprehensive. Some of my favorites from eating there throughout the year include:
• Pozole
• Huevos con Chorizo
• Chilaquiles
• Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit
• Chicken and Waffles
• and much, much more!
Thank you, Frank and family, for giving us a place to spend time with friends and enjoy delicious food. My boyfriend and I are moving away this week, and we will miss this place so much.

Relatively new local breakfast/brunch/lunch location, and very much enjoyed! Third time here, with different breakfasts, and all of them were delicious! When considering the selection for breakfast potatoes, I recommend the home fries – they’re not like the traditional crispy southern style deep fry or pan fry, but are more like parboiled potatoes finished off with a light fry that cooks them entirely without changing the texture…very tasty!

Amazing food and service experience at Rural Hall. My second visit and the food is remarkable again. Awesome servers help the homey vibe. There is something for everyone to enjoy. I recommend the chilaquiles; I had to stop myself from licking the plate. Will come back every time i’m in town.

Great little spot to stop and have a great meal. Very clean and stay was super friendly. We had chicken and waffles with French toast. Simply delicious . Great parking and great food. We will def be back here soon. It’s our newest pit stop along our route north. I suggest you stop by. You won’t be disappointed. Great breakfast and brunch.
