I read a review someone said they ordered sum chicken dressing 2years ago and asked for sum cranberry sauce and she said she had none well guess what she still don’t like who sales chitterlings that’s not been cleaned ,the potato salad was horrible a ball of grease like the dressing was burnt sort of no real southern flavor turnips trash But if you don’t clean chitterlings you don’t clean your chicken nor your hands I’m appalled I spent 65 bucks and gave a 10doller tip ,,I wouldn’t recommend this place to a Dog

I woke up this morning wanting some homecooked soul food. This was my first time and I must say I was very dissapointed. The mac n cheese was just noodles and sauce. The sauce didn’t taste cheesy at all. The turnips were very bland i had to add salt. The cornbread was very dry. The turkey n dressing was ok but it wasn’t that soul food taste i was expecting. I did have some burnt peaces of dressing. I was dissapointed after she told me she was out of cranberry sauce for the dressing and I was charged full price. I went to krogers and bought my own. If your looking for that real grandma soul food taste this isn’t it. I spent 17 dollars for my plate and it was very dissapointing for the price I paid. Please be mindful if you purchase with your card it’s cost a little extra. This was an honest non biased review.

I am appalled at the fact that this establishment tried to pass off chuck roast as Oxtails! The fact that they actually do that is unprofessional as well as unethical. The customer service was satisfactory and I expected the food to be the same. Shame on this establishment!!

Very police and friendly, the food was excellent. I have had hot water cornbread in years and it reminded me of my grandmothers cooking. Definitely a hidden gem!

My first time here was fantastic! The ribs fell off the bone, the mashed potatoes were full of flavor, and I woke up craving the cornbread patties the next day. With a gluten allergy, it is so hard to find gluten free cornbread, and I will absolutely be back!

We stopped for lunch at Keondra’s. Howard had ribs. I had the most amazing cat fish I have ever had in my life. Perfectly cooked! We were so fortunate to be able to visit with the owner and chef, Quita, and her charming daughter, Keondra. Five stars! We’ll be back! Oh…I forgot! Menu changes daily. Yams & white beans today. Come early because they were out of them by the time we got there.

Catfish was perfect, cornbread was delicious, the slaw was crisp and delightful. This place is definitely going in my regular work-at-home lunch rotation.
