Great find in downtown Bucerias. Great menu selection and entertainment starts at 7pm. Our group ordered several different meals and everything was enjoyed. The staff are super friendly and they even employ some server who don’t speak Spanish.

We have eaten 2 meals from here within a week. There is quality in everything! Chicken Tikka – soul soothing! Vermicelli rolls with tofu – very flavorful and more unique than expected! Second order: Crispy tofu with the perfect jasmine rice and finally the spring rolls – we can eat these every single day. It’s a cool corner spot with a credo of ZEN, gentle live music, outside private little tables and great service. What more could we ask for? Maybe next time, the brownie sundae!?

March 21, 2025-had dinner at Kensho in Bucerias, Mexico. We did not make reservations but I do suggest that you do. This establishment is CASH ONLY.
We had a lovely dinner with drinks, appetizers and local music.
I have known about this restaurant for a few years and this was our first visit. Food was great, the atmosphere was quaint with live entertainment. We parked across the street and walked right in. All seating is located outdoors-weather was amazing so our evening was perfect!!

We have visited this establishment twice this year, first time in January was fabulous, from the delicious food to the great service. Visited again last week, unfortunately not the same experience as the first time. We were a party of four couples, we asked for four separate bills, an immediate “no”, on our first visit, it wasn’t a problem & there was 12 of us. Our waiter/manager was rude & unfriendly like we were an inconvenience to him. Won’t be going back!!

Kenshō Bucerias was great 3-4 years ago and has declined big time over the years.
Terrible service, mediocre food and the manager has no place being in the restaurant business whatsoever.
We gave it the “one last try” a week to 10 days ago and will never go back.
We had a reservation, which they lost and were thoroughly unpleasant about it.
Maybe someone competent will take over once they go under.

Excellent outdoor restaurant that gives a good local twist on Oriental dishes. Loved the Vietnamese Vermicelli Wraps and Pad Thai with just enough spicy sauce to add for a kick. Will definitely sample more dishes.

They have a very good happy hour with 30 peso beers. Service very good. Had the Thai wings were delicious. Only issue found two long hairs, one in my husbands and one in mine. Stopped eating them when we found them and asked for a to go basket as did not want to be rude and disposed of once home. We did not say anything as we’re not looking for a freebie. Just check the food before consuming is my recommendation. I notice in reviews they only acknowledge favourable ones and don’t address unfavourable issues which shows no accountability or interest in addressing or improving.

They boast the best margaritas in town….. that’s a BIG no! Possibly the worst margarita in Mexico. Food is ok but not worthy of a second visit. Service is slow to non existent. It’s clean looking and charming but could be so much better. Too bad.

First time at Kenshō and was extremely impressed with the food, portion sizes, and the service. They also had live music which was great. We ordered the Spring rolls, Panang curry, and PadThai… it was all really delicious and I have high standards for Asian food from living in Vancouver, BC! Also.. I think the cheapest beer we have found in Mexico. 35 pesos for a Pacifico… can’t beat that!
