Thought this would be a great place to order soul food from, but turns out it was a miss. Gave us the runs and the chicken on two of our orders were very dry & we got baked and fried chicken. The Salisbury steak, rice, pinto and cabbage was ok tasting, I would try again and hopefully the results are much different, if not then that’s it for this place. Oh we love the Hawaiian sweet bread that came with each meal.

Kenny should be ashamed of sending out these sausages that have been sitting all morning and then to top it off whoever cooked those grits, knows they only used water. Why would you only send butter in the bag knowing the amount of help those grits need. Hell I couldn’t even use the sausage Jerky you sent to add flavor. I travel all over the country and this is by far the worst breakfast I’ve had in the southeast.

Wow,this place is a hidden gem! I ordered the pancake platter on Uber Eats,and the breakfast was delicious! My Uber Eats driver even raved about Kenny’s Cafe! This was my first time trying.I was even told that I would get an even better experience if I go there in person,just to see all of the good food up close! I pray that this business continues to prosper,and good job on the food and service!

Here’s why I gave them a five. The atmosphere was great on entry. I could see ladies working hard in the kitchen and people eating good. The menu is easy to understand and plenty of meat options. The smoked sausage was amazing. Fried eggs were perfect. The grits had no seasoning, but once I added the salt and pepper with butter they were really good. The biscuit was the perfect shape, look and feel but I could only eat the top half as it’s a bit much to eat with the pancakes plus after eating at it a while the biscuit wasn’t all that. Pancakes look like a million bucks just picture perfect . The taste was nine out of 10. A little interesting on the chew but it was ever so slight. Plenty parking, very nice cashier lady. Restrooms are clean enough and accommodating. Not a ton of seats for this to be a Breakfast meeting location because after a while people are looking for the next person to get up. Seems pretty popular. I was nervous to go here because it said Hapeville and I was thinking it was far but it wasn’t far at all. The amount of potatoes they give you on a home fries order is amazing. Best home fries ever, very authentic and fresh liked they diced them up, peeled them themselves. I’m sitting in the car writing this review before I leave because it was worth it very affordable and I’d recommend and be back. They have footsteps on the ground to show you where to line up, but often people make their own line so they may need to add a sign. The bathroom was dark, May need to add lighting. Stock materials in lobby, I’m sure they’re looking for a creative way to find more storage space. This didn’t seem bad or in the way. It was very neat and organized, have to work with what you got. No paintings on the wall probably should add something to represent their culture or connect to breakfast or something but again it was great Plaza Breakfast Place that could easily have a stand-alone and multiple locations.

This was my first time here and this was absolutely amazing. I had bit the biscuit first lol. All of this AND a drink for $10.50. I live in Midtown and just so happen to be out this way. I’ll definitely drive for this

gracias hermanas The food was old school country real simple and good. Sisters in the kitchen working very hard and have a neat system to handle all of us customers coming in and out. The cashier was friendly. I recommend bringing cash to leave them a tip the food is good price but if you pay with card and don’t have cash you won’t have an option to tip. Which these ladies deserve. – Sunshine ☀️

I used to go there regularly a few years ago, and I was pleased. On my recent visit, it seems like the food was not as good and the prices increased quite a bit, but that’s to be expected since it’s going on everywhere. It also seems like the place is in need of some renovations.

They are nice and food is cheaper than most of its size/category. Besides that FOOD IS BLAND. Peach cobbler smelled weird and Mac and cheese is gross . But again the food is Cheap .
