Best BBQ in Utah hands down! Service was amazing, restaurant was clean and nice. Food was amazing! Pulled pork, brisket, sausage, turkey all were cooked …

Absolutely blown away by this BBQ spot. The brisket was top notch, tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. You can tell it was smoked low and slow with real care. Then came the spare ribs… straight fall off the bone perfection with just the right balance of smoke and sauce.
Portions were generous, everything came out hot and fresh, and the overall vibe made it even better. If you love real BBQ done right, this place is a must try. I will 100 percent be back. Highly recommend.

Before I get into the details, I need to start by saying Kenny knows BBQ. Best BBQ I’ve had in Utah by far. We ordered the family meal for 5-6 people and chose brisket, pulled pork and ribs for the meat options. We got green chile Mac and cheese, baked beans and fries. The best part of the sides are there are multiple to choose from and they are all made from scratch. The bark on the brisket was perfect and the meats were all tender with incredible smoked flavor. No pellets are used, just logs of wood. The owners were incredibly warm and gave us a tour of their smokers. This is a great family owned restaurant that needs to be supported in our community! Lots of seating for large groups or families as well. Give them a try!

The half rack of ribs were so tender the meat literally fell off the bone, and the brisket was delicious. The sweet corn is a must, as well as the funeral potatoes. The mac and cheese was tasty with some heat, but not too much, so it was a perfect side. The staff is super friendly and nice, it was refreshing to feel truly welcomed at an eating establishment. I highly recommend this restaurant for bbq, can’t wait to return and try some more items on the menu.

I’m from Texas so I have been spoiled with the best bbq. So far there’s only two bbq restaurants I like so far one in Draper (ifykyk) and Kenny J’s
Brisket 5/5: melt in your mouth tender and juicy I love that they ask if you want moist or lean.
Signature sausage 4/5: Smokey, juicy and cheesy. There’s suppose to be some spice. I would like for it to be slightly more charred but that’s just me.
Burnt ends 3/5: the sauce was too sweet
Signature fries 5/5: loved the seasoning slightly over salted, good fry sauce.
Mac n cheese 5/5: this side is a must! Super cheesy and has a little kick
Beans 4/5: has good flavor on the sweeter side of the spectrum
Bbq sauce 4/5 good can’t complain
Service 5/5 friendly staff checked on us
Seating is cafeteria style

This place looks really nice inside, very spacious and great for big groups and the customer service was excellent. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match my expectations. Everything was just okay and pricey for what you get. The chopped brisket was the only thing that stood out, but the rest of the plate wasn’t that great. I expected better seasoning. Not the worst BBQ, but definitely not the best in Utah. I’m glad I gave this place a try.

Hands down the best BBQ in Utah. Not only is the food delicious, but the owners are amazing. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and want them to have a great experience paired with amazing food. I love the Turkey and their fries, go order anything off the menu and you will know what I’m talking about. (Also the best BBQ sauce I’ve had)

I really enjoyed the texas style BBQ. The burnt ends were amazing and the ribs had a good smoke flavor and the bite and texture of the meat was perfect. The mac and cheese was delicious with the hatch chili. The spice heat level is very minimal you can feel is there but it isn’t so hot that it blows out your palette and adds to the enjoyment of eating it.

We came and tried this place out the other day (shout out to Hans and Scottie for the recommendation). The bbq was excellent. We tried the pulled pork, brisket, and burnt ends. All were delicious. We found that the nachos and baked potatoes seemed to be the best bang for your buck as they came with some meat and cost about $13. The fries came in a more generous portion than expected and were excellent. They have bread available in the dining room for free.
The concept seems to be to just purchase however much meat you feel like and they just charge you per pound and they don’t offer combo plates. I don’t love this but it makes sense and I certainly don’t blame them for using this model.
I look forward to trying some of their other sides and meats.
All in all, the quality was good enough that even though it seems like it costs a bit more than other local bbq places I’ll likely be coming back.

Kenny and Mary are the best. This is the best BBQ in Utah hands down. The food is great, the atmosphere is awesome, and the people are fantastic. Great service. Kenny’s brisket is literally my favorite food. All the sides are good and unique. The banana pudding is delicious. Haven’t had a bad thing on the menu and I’ve tried almost everything. Thanks Kenny and Mary!

Delicious!! Be prepared to dine in BBQ heaven. As you enter the aroma of the smokers will transport your taste buds to a place of BBQ bliss. Holy smokes, the meat is amazing. Burnt ends, Turkey and Brisket for the win. Green beans and baked beans were a favorite for sure.
