Used to come here as a child & made a visit today after 15 years. The food & service were exactly how I remember it. Great food, the staff are nice & appreciative. The only thing that changed was that they went to disposable flatware & silverware. For any native Phoenicians: this is tasty Americanese food.

Food was over cooked, I asked for fresh servings , I was ignored. Oncec they piled what remained they pulled out the freshly cooked. Not really a buffet , the harsh woman piled the only selections they prepared onto a 9″ paper plate , one heap of mess and grease . The prices are the give away , reason for over priced slop is that they know their food is unedible, they over ice so that you get half a drink then charge $2 for a refill. Avoid this place like the plague. Crossing my fingers that tomorrow I don’t pay the price ( over priced) for the exit of the consumed food .

This place is a historical icon of the area. Been eating here for 40 years and practically nothing has changed. They’ve got new-to-them seating recently, and COVID protocols have them using paper plates, cups, throw away utensils, and the workers prepare your plate from the buffet (with your input) at $9 for just food or $10.75 with a drink this place is a steal. The service is horrible here when asking for a take out box to go golden coin skimps your food when you ask for eggrolls! Always disrespectful towards my husband he is even willing to pay extra for egg roll this location has horrible customer service no kind at all not worth what we paid for we usually share a plate to go but when they act horrible not giving us what we paid for it’s hard not to want to never come back to this place horrible service I don’t recommend this place this is the truth.
