Wow!!! The food was amazing!! The service was not so great. My family recently visited Kenny D’s based on a couple of recommendations from friends. My wife had the crab legs and I had the Grouper St Charles. We were both very impressed with our meal. Our server acted as if she was totally inconvenienced by all of the customers. We definitely don’t expect much, just a smile and refills. I would give fewer stars, however the food truly made up for the horrible customer service.

The food was exceptional — truly delicious with nothing negative to say there. Our server was also outstanding and handled everything with professionalism.
Unfortunately, one employee significantly impacted our overall experience. My husband ordered a Moscow Mule and simply didn’t care for it. He politely sent it back and even offered to pay for it. Later, when we ordered a different drink, the bartender came out from behind the bar and confronted us in front of our family about the previous order. It felt unnecessary and uncomfortable.
In hospitality, one employee can shape the entire customer experience, and in this case, that interaction took away from what would have otherwise been a perfect evening. I hope this is addressed, as the food and service from the rest of the staff were truly excellent.

Here for happy hour. Drinks were really great, bartender was excellent. Service for food was ok, they confused our order for another table so had to wait for the remake. Key lime pie was really good though.

Very enjoyable! First trip, won’t be the last. My husband enjoyed the gumbo and etouffe and I love that you offer 1/4 lb of peel and eat shrimp!! They were huge and awesome.

I’ve come here a couple of times since moving here. The atmosphere here is relaxing and quiet. You see the occasional walker/runner and tourists conversing while meandering through. Even when it’s super busy, the noise doesn’t take away from the location at all. It’s still peaceful.
The food is amazing! I’ve always gotten the shrimp po boy here because it is my FAVORITE spot for this particular sandwich. It’s so yummy. The shrimp are crispy and delicious and the bread is also crispy and nice. Their fries are also delicious and crispy as well. (I LOVE me some good crispy fries ☺️). Their mozzarella sticks and calamari are also outstanding.
The waiters are always super nice and attentive and have always been prompt with service.
I love Kenny D’s. I 100% plan on taking my family and friends here whenever they visit!

The gumbo and fried Mahi Mahi nuggets were extremely, really good, I also got raw oysters and fried calamari . They were both good as well. During lunch, I don’t think you need reservations, but for dinner, I’d recommend it .

Absolutely FANTASTIC! Incredible fried clam strips and muffuletta sandwich that is the REAL DEAL!! Zac took such good care of us! We will be coming back next year and every year while vacationing in Destin. 10 STARS!

Very convenient to where we were staying, so without planning ahead we just walked over. They have a good amount of seating so we had no wait for an inside table. A little loud and rowdy, but a fun atmosphere. Had a great server. The gumbo was recommended, so we tried it and it was delicious! Good cocktails and I also had a tasty local beer. The soft shell crab po-boy was simple but tasty. Didn’t feel rushed, but it was a little too loud to stay for drinks after dinner.

Gumbo is excellent. Also the Hush Puppies with tartar sauce.
Red beans and rice are almost great, could use more ham flavor.
Gave use a dog water while we waited for our order. Very pet friendly.

Love the simple decor and wonderful atmosphere. Our waitress was very attentive and asked if we knew what our meals we picked out were since we picked a couple of the weirder dishes. Felt like she was making sure we were going to like our meals. Drinks were very good! Had live music that was nice to listen to outside. Would recommend going!
