Feels like you’re stepping into the doors of Japan from the lighting to the table arrangement down to the menu. It’s very quiet and there’s very little to no music which means you can enjoy conversations while delighting yourself with the flavors true to the japanese pallette. I recommend their box of sashimi, it is truly worth the price!

We frequently dine at Kenji Tei in Solenad whenever we’re in the area and craving Japanese food that’s quick and satisfying. This place is our go-to for a no-fuss meal — the food always arrives fast, so it’s perfect when we’re in a hurry.
I especially enjoy their Maki and tofu options — both are consistently good and perfect for my preferences. As for the ramen, I have to be honest — it can be a hit or miss. Some flavors tend to be a bit salty, and others could be more flavorful or rich. But even with that, I still find myself coming back.
One of the main reasons we return is the excellent service. The staff are genuinely nice and attentive — our water glasses are refilled right away without even asking, and the overall vibe is welcoming. Definitely a solid choice if you’re in Solenad and looking for quick and decent Japanese food with great service.

We celebrated my mom’s birthday here thru online reservation (Viber). Once we arrived, we were accommodated quickly and I asked for their group meals. Luckily, I have seniors in the group so they made a huge discount on our meals hehe… They really love the maki, spicy negi ramen, crispy chicken teriyaki, gyoza and tofu steak.
Overall, everything is so delicious thanks for the quick service, hospitality and kind staff ♥️ we’ll definitely come back again to try other menu

Still one of the best ramen stops in Nuvali Solenad. Offerings is a bit on the expensive side. Kenji Tei is best dine in if they’re not busy. Otherwise, quality of food is usually affected if they are busy and lots of people dining in. Based on my multiple dine in experience.

This simple restaurant really serves yummy Japanese dishes. This is inside a mall so it’s very convenient for shoppers who are craving for their favorite Japanese food.

Save for the sushi, the food was very good. The tofu selection was excellent and was the highlight of the dinner. Food came in quick. The staff were attentive and prompt. The place was ok with outdoor and indoor options.

If I ever wanted a Japanese food, Kenji Tei used to be my go to place. As the food is prepared the traditional Japanese way, simple but tasty and fresh. But today – I am disappointed, all the doodle we ordered (pork tonkatsu, spicy salmon sashimi and Mano Tofu is below the usual standard that used to be served here. the longevity of a restaurant lies upon the consistency of its good food, among other things. I hope – Kenji Tei – can recover from this.

it is our second time here, and still very much satisfied with the food. All authentic Japanese taste. The place is nice too, service crews are polite and attentive. A little busy and loud but it’s just tolerable for lunch dining. Our favorites are the Beef ramen and california maki, chicken teriyaki is a bit salty and hollow but still has a good flavor. A must try restaurant for sure.

Shout out to the spicy rolled salmon which was just delectable! I need to come back for more of it! Everything else was pretty good too, especially the value for money! The large bowl of ramen which was arguably good for a conservative three was only 300+.

Kenji Tei is our go to place if my kids and I have cravings for Japanese food. We love their Crunchy Kani, the cheezy gyoza, and the kids love their ramen. Prices are just in the right range, not too pricey.
