We worked with Keneke’s Catering for our wedding. We wanted plate lunch served buffet style and that was it. Then slowly we decided to add on many things like plates, napkins, flatware, water glasses, and they just kept accommodating us. By the end we had a beautifully arranged place setting for everyone that I just adored. It looked exactly as I had imagined, and they were so kind to go back and forth with me on everything. They arrived on time. They even served me and my husband at our head table so we didn’t have to get up. Waters were always filled and the buffet line was full, and the food was DELICIOUS! And gorgeous. We loved working with them and were so thankful for all their hard work. They also cleaned up at the end of the night so I never once had to worry about cleanup and we were thankful that we could add that on. Thanks Keneke’s!

Very good beef teriyaki and garlic chicken. Both served with rice and a small pineapple slice. Free drinks with the special. Outside and inside seating. The outside seating in back is shared with chickens and ducks. Inside a corral were sheep and large turkeys. Chocolate ice cream with macadamia nuts and vanilla ice cream were good.

This is our third visit to Oahu and every time Kenekes is a must eat (sometimes more than once). It’s not fancy just good food at a reasonable price and super friendly people. Every time we’ve been welcomed and the food it amazing. I had the garlic shrimp (came with more than I could eat). Hubby got the combo plate kaluha pork and teriyaki chicken both he enjoyed very much and again too much to eat. Well worth the drive or a stop if you are traveling from the east to the north side or reverse. And since I’ve seen it mentioned in reviews yes there are flies, it’s open air and pretty much everywhere you eat open air in Hawaii has flies. If you don’t like them get it to go.

Some of the nicest people I ran into. And that is saying a lot because most of the people in Hawaii are very nice. The food is excellent. We sat in the back outside and watched ducks and chickens walk around along with geckos and even a sneaky mongoose. I would would go back anytime. And definitely would like to try more of the menu.

The food was great, especially the combo we had of coconut shrimp and the kalua pig plate. My sister got the bacon cheeseburger and said the bacon was on the saltier side but she ate the whole thing 🙂

Delicious food and great conversations. Two aspects of the island that go well together. I ordered Rice, Pork, Teriyaki Chicken, and macaroni salad. It was delicious. The restaurant’s hours as displayed in Google Maps said they open at 1100; however, when I got there at 1030, they were already open and their freshly cooked Kalua Pork was ready to serve. This is one spot I will be returning to.
