I ordered the stuffed chopped baked potatoe, all the way with jalapenos. I also ordered the sliced brisket sandwich, all the way. Very good flavors and an excellent values. It’s a short drive from Dayton, actually closer than driving to Liberty. Outside dining is clean and comfortable. Friendly people who are just trying to make a living selling best bbq possible. Highly recommended!

Despite being closed on their day off, they graciously went out of their way to prepare a delicious meal for our meeting. Their willingness to accommodate us during their time off truly exemplifies a spirit of community and excellence.
The food was exceptional! It was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. The service was just as impressive: courteous, prompt, and above all, thoughtful. And the pricing was more than fair, especially given the quality and effort involved.

Drove a bit sideways between Houston and New Orleans, but worth the stop to my first Texas BBQ (I’m not counting one time at a big chain in san Antonio decades ago. The smell of the pit hits you as soon as you open the rental car door…as well as the humidity and storm clouds in the distance.
Went with a safe brisket plate order and great meat and phenomenal red beans and rice side.
But the owner brought out a rib for me to try….and it went to another level! I’ve eaten many BBQ ribs, but this was the best ever! The meat was that perfect texture and smoke ring clear and sumptuous. But the rub texture I’d never had before.
Sauce was well done too.

Great food, friendly locals, supports the local taco truck instead of competing with their neighbors. Awesome outdoor covered area and even a friendly dog on staff. Prices can’t be beat, especially for GOOD BBQ. I love the potato and burritos both, I’m a big guy and they fill me up for $10. I can also go grab a link of smoked sausage to toss in my Alfredo at home if I’m running behind and need a quick, but home cooked, meal.

This place has the most amazing bbq you could ever ask for but they are NEVER open. We just drove 2 hours to come here for dinner because it says they are open but they aren’t. They haven’t been open the last SIX times I have been by here and it’s always during their posted hours of operation. SO DISAPPOINTED
