I walked in when they first opened I was the first customer of the day. I witnessed the gentleman go to fridge in front of me literally picked out my food frozen and stated it will be ready in 10 min this was when they were downtown location.
If everyone saying their food so good why did they have to move from a larger spot to a smaller spot these reviews are lies I only received 2 good meals for them for me and the hubby the fish and lamb and downhill from their.
Guess they stopped cooking fresh

Food: lacking flavor, I was surprised and disappointed to see them warm everything in the microwave and in styrofoam.
The “jollof rice” tasted like Chinese fried rice
I have never felt so misled… false advertisement!
The cassava stew was okay but the rice was over heated in the microwave and ended up hard and crunchy
Overall food tasted like left overs
The chicken was okay nothing special.
Service: The girl was rude, the man had good customer service skills
Atmosphere: no active cooking… stove was not on
I will not eat from here again!

The fish fry was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, complemented by tangy tartar sauce and fresh coleslaw. Highly recommended!

I work closeby to this restaurant and had been wanting to give them a try. I never had African food before and I was curious so after work was over on Thursday I stopped in to try a lamb shank with yellow rice. It was so good! The lamb fell off the bone smoothly and the yellow rice was flavorful. I was afraid the dish was going to be spicy but they put the spice in a small container on the side. Service was friendly and fast. The price came out $20, which was not bad at all. Next time I will try either the dibi or the peanut sauce dish. 10 out of 10 Kenedougou Grill, thank you for introducing me to African food. I recommended this restaurant to my family and anyone who is curious about African food. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

I was taken back at first because the address on line is not the physical address, then when I got there although the door says it take cards, they don’t. Once I unboxed my food I was pleasantly surprised. The smell alone had me, but then the taste got me all the way there. The food was delicious (cassava with white rice) and I will be back soon. Best I have had since moving to Delaware.

It’s hard to find good peanut sauce, but Lassana’s peanut sauce with chicken was delicious! The attieke with fish was enjoyed by friends who had never tried West African food before and they loved it! We’ll definitely be back.

The Owner/worker is Beautiful and sweet. Great Customer service, the food is nasty! I went multiple times to give them a chance. I love African food! I think it’s because the way the reheat it in the microwave! The rice was hard the peanut soup was bland! I wish it was different because she is so sweet.

The staff was very friendly! I ordered the cassava leaf and asked them to make it extra spicy with rice and got the pepper sauce. I grew up eating African food and this place was just okay. It wasn’t spicy at all and it lacked in flavor. I would not go back.
