Bustling little pastry and coffee shop. Fabulous basque cheesecake and tasty cortado. The building has cute but cozy modern styling, nice selection of pastry and breads, and an approachable coffee menu. Haven’t yet tried anything savory but the whole menu sounds great. Perhaps not ideal for a big group because the dining are is small, but would be perfect for a couple on the go.

The mushroom toast is definitely my absolute favorite! I have to say, it’s probably one of my favorite toasts ever, where the savory, meaty and woody mushroom paired perfectly with the creamy cheese! My wife also loved their avocado toast where the avocado spread was also very decadently creamy! The staff were also friendly and kind, conversing with us casually and it was a pleasure speaking with them. The cafe is very cute with spacious seating and welcoming designs all throughout, providing a comfortable ambiance for diners to relax and enjoy themselves, with both indoor and outdoor seatings. Overall, it’s a very cute cafe and I highly, HIGHLY, recommend their toasts for a quick and light bite, especially the mushroom toast if you like mushrooms!

I tried their shakshouka for the first time and it was delicious and filling. I’m a fan of feta and there was plenty of it on top of the dish. There’s more than enough food for one and they give you slices of toasted bread to sop up the tomato goodness of the sauce. I also had their version of a Vietnamese iced coffee, which was surprisingly good. There isn’t the fun of making the beverage as you would in a Vietnamese restaurant; however, it’s has the same rich, smooth and creamy taste. I went there around 9:30am on a Friday morning and it wasn’t busy. By the time I left about an hour later there was a line outside the door.

Wonderful spot! We originally came out here to try the North River Roasters but realized they closed down. So we found Kelly’s bakery which was a wonderful surprise on our last day of travels. We were greeted by a friendly and lovely host who took the time to get to know us and suggest a few menu items. We were not prepared for how delicious the food was nor the quality of the coffee. Superb! The decor is industrious modern with beautiful views of the Walkway over the Hudson. A short easy walk from downtown. The B.A.L.T with salmon was one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. The cold brew was strong and creamy. I would imagine they roasted the beans themselves in the back. The vibe is clean, relaxed, diverse with relaxed music overhead. We also had the chai with Kelly’s egg sandwich, beautiful combo of flavors. A memorable experience, and we can’t wait to return, thank you!

My favorite in Poughkeepsie, hands down! The space is usually highly populated every time I go with a very short wait to purchase. I always go for some croissant, my favorite is the parma-cotta. The everything seasoning is always a good choice also. Most recently went for the drilled cheese with a cortado. A Dairy Queen’s dream.

Great bakery, the almond croissant was one of the best I have had, paired perfectly with a great sized cappuccino. The French toast was very delicious and had a nice addition of some fruit on top- there was a little too much mascarpone on it for me, but easily removed. The place is a nice setting, but gets very busy and tough to clear your own table when leaving.

Kelly’s Bakery is my go-to place. Not only are the food and drinks amazing, the staff is so kind and cheerful to be around. I get the granola bowl every time — the granola is homemade and it is to die for. The staff goes above and beyond for all of their customers, new or recurrent, and the love Kelly’s Bakery emits is contagious. It’s a great place for Marist students to go to when they want to relax and have some good food in a very aesthetic atmosphere. You’re missing out if you have yet to visit Kelly’s Bakery!

Great bakery! A lot of fresh bread, baguettes and pastries. A lot of brunch options, good coffee. The whole atmosphere is nice. The line got a little long on Saturday morning, but we didn’t mind waiting. We got several things. The cheesecake was so tender and tasty! Almond croissants were great!

This place is incredible. The area is beautiful, the people are incredibly friendly and happy, the building is cute with huge garage doors to let in the beautiful spring air, and the list goes on. Great coffee, comfortable seating both indoor and out, and best of all- the bakery is fresh daily!
