Yall!!! This place is the bomb! The food is hot, fresh. The portions are huge!! And the prices are good. The servers are very friendly and helpful. And the food came out steaming hot even though it was a busy Saturday morning. Definitely coming back!!! The magic is in the crust! My husband says one of the best he has tried in this state.

Service here is always phenomenal!! Glasses are never empty and the food has always been good!! I typically always get the same thing when I go here but I tried something new and it was incredible! Literally reminded me of one of my favorite restaurants that I would go to when I visited family. Chicken tenders are always tasty along with their chicken fried steak/chicken. However, yesterday I tried the JW’s Chili Burger and they hit that one out of the park!! Delicioso!!

Order food for pickup from this location. They did not include our mashed potatoes or our vegetables that were supposed to come with our pork chop plate. The pork chops were also very dry. We got the seafood plates for my son’s which they enjoyed, however the fish was not seasoned very much. Half of the salads were pretty decent and the other half, not so much. Overall I’d have to say I probably won’t be ordering from this location again.

Best place for an appetite. They overfeed their guests. You will be taking leftovers home. Best food for miles. We ordered the fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes, gravy, fried okra, & cole slaw. It was fantabulous. The service was above & beyond. They always treat you right. Beautiful people & always happy.

This place never let’s you down! Always great service and great food! Large portions, always have a take home leftovers box! Over the years I’ve probably had at least half of the items on menu! All very good! Waffles and chicken are awesome! Biscuits and sausage gravy are great! Beef tips and rice are yummy,the list goes on and on! If you haven’t tried, please do,I highly recommend!

Called ahead to ask questions, very friendly and helpful hostess! Arrived to pick up order and it all smells so delicious. Very clean location and friendly, helpful staff! Verified order accuracy on phone and in person. We were greeted by 2 different employees and offered to help carry order to the car! Excellent experience at the Alvin location ❤️

Could have lost a star for serving cool gravy with biscuit, but it was immediately rectified. Rest of meal came out hot. Ample portions. Country ham had great flavor with no bone. Nice that biscuit does come out before rest of food. Large seating area and plenty of help. Nice to see one person dedicated to keeping tables clean using a spray bottle and rag.

Let me tell you about the absolute adventure this place took me on, we come in to a beautiful restaurant. First thing we see on one of the stands on the table, Chicken Fried Bacon, yes you read that right. It was amazing so then we go on to order and one of my buddies orders this absolute unit in their 1 lbs burger while I decide on the Kelley’s Grand Slam, when I tell you that Chicken Fried Steak was a long as my arm, and the same width as me, I knew I was leaving with leftovers. You absolutely cannot beat these sizes or the prices for this good of food. I simply can’t recommend this place enough.
