2/13/26 9pm. Service and food is terrible. The hotess that seated us looked us up and down and seemed to have a uppity attitude as maybe disapproving us or something. Waitress Aleah never asked if we needed a refill, napkins, steak sauce, no nothing! After we signed the check another girl came by to ask do we need a refill. 1st visit and definitely our last ! Just because we are known on TV doesnt mean we want to waste our money and time!

French onion soup had minimal flavor, shrimp cocktail was good (4 shrimp for $15, despite menu saying $14), side salad was underwhelming (would have chosen another side had we known it was so basic & small), ribs were good (yay), sirloin was chewy (but edible), both loaded baked potatoes were dried out (didn’t taste fresh despite having a reservation when they opened), and filet mignon was tough & chewy. I LOVE steak and simply couldnt eat it. I ended up sending it back. After reading reviews (while there), I saw I wasn’t the only one with issues (sort on most recent) I had regrets that I’d booked this place. Overall, meat wasn’t good quality and/or cooked properly. I actually question if it was frozen and unthawed improperly. No manager came by to inquiry or apologize (which is what well run establishments do). However, Lee our server was pleasant, and did take it off the bill.
I thought this place would be a nicer place, boy was I wrong. Music did not fit (too loud and not the genre for what I thought was supposed to be a “nicer” place, bright lights, and paper condiment cups that literally collapsed (even alot of bars/grills use stainless/metal). This place had little class.
Despite our experience, the dessert was good. However, not made in house & there was no menu or prices available (server just told us what they were). I had put in the reservation we were celebrating a birthday, and it wasn’t acknowledged. We were over the entire experience & side tracked by the disappointment, so didn’t even say anything. 🙁
To be honest, not sure how this place stays in business. I assume they thrive off people passing through and staying at the hotel.
If you want a nice restaurant, I’d find something else (Texas Roadhouse is better). Sadly, this was a waste of money and our time.

Casey at the bar is amazing! She makes the evening fun. The coconut shrimp are amazing and the fried portabello mushrooms make the two-hour trip worth it. I wish my salmon was fresher. It was very smelly and tasted off. We will definitely be back.

Chose Keller’s for a quiet anniversary dinner. My wife and I were the first two seated by an unfriendly hostess, at booth right off the main aisle with plenty of two-seat booth available. Two more customers were seated at a table for four beind us, four more were seated right next to us within reach!?!?! Ordered Honey glazed Salmon off the menu, received lemon dill salmon.

Enjoyed a fantastic meal here. The 16 oz Heart of Iowa Sirloin Steak was flawlessly cooked to a medium-rare, and the garden salad was delightful with its fresh lettuce and crisp veggies. The cocktails were well-crafted and complemented the meal perfectly. The staff were both attentive and engaging, making my bar seat experience memorable.
Update: I’ve become a frequent visitor and have explored their menu extensively, from Buffalo Wings to the Steamed Seafood Platter. Every dish has been a hit, and the service never disappoints.
If you end up at the bar, make sure to ask for Hurricane Katrina—she’s an exceptional server and easily my favorite.

My husband and I decided to take a chance on Keller’s as we live about 10 minutes away. I ordered a medium-rare steak and received a charred overpriced piece of meat. When I mentioned it to my server I was told the manager could give me 10% off my meal. The outside of the steak was complete burnt. We do not mind paying for quality but this was ridiculous. More than likely we will not return which is unfortunate because we live so close and would have loved to find a new spot near home to enjoy a meal. Very unhappy.

Came for a filet, but was a little disappointed. It was a bit chewier than expected and a little underdone from our request. We also had a bad potato. I mean black spots and crunchy parts that should not have been crunchy. We might try again but get something different when we come back to gamble next time.

First, we were seated and it took over 20 minutes to get our drinks. Then, when the waiter finally came back ( another 15 minutes) we ordered our meals and an appetizer. Another 25 minutes and the appetizer came. The waiter asked if we wanted bread (after the appetizer came). Then 5 minutes later our meals came. We weren’t even done with the appetizer. I ordered the Pepper Steak. It was a preformed hamburger patty! With 2 small bites of green pepper and 2 small pieces of onion. Not at all what I expected for $24. It was literally about $5 worth of food!
