Fairly decent down to earth food when out on the road.
Pro-tip—don’t just trust the menus for all your food choices.
Ordered a cheeseburger and it was good.
But when I finished and went walking around, there were many more options.
Foodie friend said chicken fried steak was average.
Friendly staff and cute place overall.

Terrible! I’ve been to so many BBQ business. And this is the worst! I ordered the Meat Loaf Special. And was very under cooked. I asked for a couple of slices of Brisket and it very greasy. I told them would if they eat this crap! Cobbler was the only thing that was fair. Thats why i gave them a 1 star. Never again. And the owner was very prejudice. Never again! The worst!

Nothing to say except the food was mediocre at best. Didn’t feel like a very warm and friendly environment. I ate quick and moved on out of town. Well at least the town was neat to pass thru and the old car adds to the charm of the area.

The ribs were horrible. Best thing that can be done is throw away the microwave in the kitchen and cook to order. Ribs were grey and tasted like the microwave. Burgers were good as well as the brisket but ribs were a big no.

The cucumber salad was AMAZING!! It alone was worth the drive! We had the brisket sandwich and sausage links. The brisket was tender and plentiful, and the links were great also. The sauce had just the right twang. We would definitely recommend.

Our go to place for breakfast. Friendly, clean and delicious. We always feel welcomed and enjoy Keese’s often. This is a good stopover for families, hunters and motorcyclists as seasons change. I like the hometown Hill Country decor.

The bbq was terrible. We were so excited when we saw a bbq place on our way to our vacation. The brisket was pretty much not edible. The food was very over priced. They only had two sides: potato salad and beans. Would definitely keep passing through before you stop here.

Small town diner. Owner will stop by chat and tell you history of the town. If you are riding the 3 twisted sisters it’s a must stop for breakfast. The locals will even tell you where speed traps are! Great location, food, atmosphere, and service!
