What can I say. After 2 weeks in Egypt a girl just needs a good steak? Mind blowing. One night a lamb rack and the second a ribeye. Simple. Cooked well. Peppercorn sauce to boot! Servers are sweet and if u are alone and have no friends they make you feel like you a real person. Loved. Welcome.

We came here on our 3rd night in Cairo and absolutely loved it! The restaurant is beautiful and has amazing views of the Nile River. The food is excellent and I highly recommend the mushroom ravioli. Moamen was our waiter and he was so incredible and kind to us and helped us pick out the best drinks and entrees. The service here was impeccable.
This place should be on your list when you are in Cairo! Highly recommend.

I had a great time dining in at J&G. The atmosphere is great, overlooking the Nile River at the 3rd floor. The service was alright but it takes 30-40 minutes for food which is ok. The food was great. I would recommend the short ribs with a side of fries or mash. The filet mignon is also great to share with friends.

We ordered two diferent glasses of wine but one glass is less than the other 40% (wine) and when we talked to the staff, he was very impolite, the same when we ask him to split our bill. We ate here on our first night staying at the St Regis Hotel and the food and the view of the Nile was fabulous. The restaurant decor is also gorgeous.
The wagyu fillet and US beef fillet steaks were cooked perfectly to our request, complemented by sides of truffle mash and wild mushrooms.
Our starters of mushroom soup and calamari were equally delicious.
Our table had a great view of the Nile and the server Ahmed Ziad was very attentive and helpful. Outstanding service!

The steaks are… Weird. Idk what cut I got but it was round like a hamburger… Asked for medium rare and it was damn near raw. But those mashed potatoes and the sweet corn was UNREAL! So good. The shrimp was underwhelming. Then the dessert was a LOT of chocolate. Needs more ice cream. But it was delicious nevertheless.
The service was pretty good though. Very attentive but make sure to actually ask for the bill.
