We went around Christmas and it was decorated really cute. We sat at the bar and had excellent service. The female bartender was on it and talking to us and making sure everybody was served and did an amazing job. And then we went back about a week ago in February and it was so disappointing. The food was marginal at best. The service was severely lacking! At one point I went to the bathroom and realized all of the staff were in the back laughing and carrying on with conversations, which is fine, but there was not one staff member in the bar area or the dining room for several minutes. People were just looking around trying to find someone. So that was super disappointing. The management needs to keep an eye on this.

Disappointing. Tried for the first time today. The place was decorated so cute for Christmas. Food came out fairly quick, however it was luke warm. The fish and chips/tots were awful because they were barely warm with soggy, greasy coating and no flavor. Our waitress didn’t bother to check on us after food was delivered. She was no where to be found. After some searching, she was talking for quiet a while with a table full of men. She had her back to us and we couldn’t get her attention. I requested tarter sauce to help make the fish edible and was told it would be an extra charge on top of $18. Do better Keegans!

My husband and I attended the grand opening night. We were very excited to have an Irish pub closer to our home finally. I’ll start off with the pros. The menu has great options. The burgers were AMAZING. Glad there was at least one cider option.
Cons. Took 30 minutes to receive one beer, attempted ordering a second to enjoy with our dinner, but they never came until after we paid the bill. The Mac n cheese was just alright, but my sweet potato fries were cold, not even warm. Never got out to go cup. Plus, I’m not sure what makes it Irish besides the some food options and Guinness because there was no Irish decor. People may say well it’s opening day, but you would want it to be the best possible day to entice people to come back.
BEST BURGERS!

Lively environment with delicious food. We went on the second day of opening so it was busy but enjoyed drinks at the bar and some nice conversation until our booth was ready. The Sampler Platter is a delicious must order for an appetizer. It came with Reuben egg rolls, blue cheese chips, and wings any flavor. We ordered our wings medium & teriyaki mixed the absolute best combo. The fish and chips were very crispy and filling. The chicken tenders and onion rings were the same. Will definitely come back food was great!

First of all it’s a decent pour of Guinness. And the food is consistently good. In fact I’ve been to their other locations and it seems like it’s improved. Service is better than average. I guess having young women is required but they do seem motivated. Best of all it has the feel of a genuine pub, something the other local places do not. I’m from Chicago and been to Dublin. Glad to have them here in North Georgia.

I would not recommend this place if you’re hungry. The service is slow, and the food was overcooked. Be sure to check your nachos carefully — we had to send ours back because they were missing ingredients, dry and barely had any cheese. The burger was dry, overcooked, and completely lacking in flavor. Overall, a disappointing experience.
The waitress was friendly but not very attentive considering we were her only table.

Came here because of all the great reviews and I also didn’t realize it is a franchise. I probably would’ve had different expectations had I known. We had fish and chips and the fish came out soggy and greasy on a bed of re-fried fries. The sweet tea was watered down from the start. Our waitress was awesome and did replace the fries with fresh ones (Thank you so much!) But what I experienced here is not enough to make me come ever again. Spent $40 on a Captain D’s quality meal.

Another job we’ll done by the people at Keegan’s. Keeping with their Irish theme, the food, service and atmosphere were top notch.
