The food was delicious! we had the Fried Chicken Gyoza and the Tokoyaki as apps, then my sister and i had some ramen i had the spicy miso soup! Everything was really good in that aspect! Service on the other hand was not so good. After they took our food we had to stand up and ask for help. I don’t usually mind if the employees are not doing much because there’s no costumers, but please pay attention! They were super nice and everything came out fast so that was good too!

This is a very cool place with a wonderful atmosphere, beautiful decor, and a lovely interior. The friendly staff made us especially happy. They brought water right away and quickly served the miso soup — it was made very well and tasted delicious. It’s rare to find such an amazing miso soup with so many ingredients. You can really see that they put their heart into what they do.
The staff are incredibly welcoming, and the service is very fast. Everything is very clean, pleasant, comfortable, and at the same time affordable. I’d also like to highlight the attention to detail — both in the presentation and in the taste of the dishes, you can feel the care for the guests. The atmosphere makes you want to come back again and again; you truly relax and enjoy your time here.
We will definitely come back and recommend this place to our friends. Thank you so much for such a warm welcome and excellent quality!

Stopped by for dinner during a weekend in Glenwood Springs. We got the spicy miso ramen, beef pho and spicy edamame.
Food: The spicy edamame was good and had lots of flavor. The pho was okay. The broth was a dark golden color and missing the umami and traditional spices. The ramen was heavy on the miso tare, it wasn’t dissolved all the way and was stuck in my noodles. So it tasted saltier than I expected. Overall, the two noodle soups were unbalanced.
Service: we were helped right away even tho it was very busy. They were friendly and attentive.
Boba tea: we were about to order some, but saw that they use powder mix. For $8.50 it seemed extremely steep.

I went to have ramen there, but I was really disappointed.
I love ramen so much that I can usually appreciate the depth of the broth — but the soup here tasted like instant noodles from a packet.
Even worse, the pork that came with the ramen was one of the strangest I’ve ever had. It was grilled in a way that was completely different from typical ramen shops, and the flavor just didn’t work at all.
I couldn’t finish my bowl and felt it was a waste of money, though I didn’t complain to the staff.
It felt like a $5 instant noodle quality, yet I paid around $18.
When the staff served my food, they had just washed their hands and still had wet hands. They grabbed my ramen bowl directly without using a tray — their hand even touched the pork, and water dripped from their hand onto my table.
If you’re expecting a great ramen experience here, I’d suggest thinking twice or reading more reviews before going.

If you’re hungry for Phở (Vietnamese noodle soup), Japanese bento box, sushi or ramen, Kedai Phở & Japanese Cuisine is a decent & affordable option for lunch & dinner in the cute historic town of Glenwood Springs, located right off Grand Avenue (hwy 82), steps from the Colorado River & I-70 and 45 minutes from Aspen-Pitkin County airport. The restaurant is inside a retail building on the second floor overlooking the main strip. The dining area is spacious, clean, casual, low noise level; food was decent, good value & a lot more affordable than downtown Aspen. Service was excellent & friendly; food was well prepared/presented; free street parallel parking; nice walkable neighborhood with shops & restaurants. Glenwood Springs is a worthwhile break on your I-70 roadtrip through the Rockies. Recommended & will come back next time.

My sister-in-law brought me to this lovely spot for dinner tonight and I am utterly impressed!
We were seated quickly at a high top table after being warmly greeted.
My sister in law is a regular here, so I followed her lead. There were so many fantastic rolls to choose from, but her favorite, the Kedai, was the perfect choice. The flavors were amazing and the presentation was perfect!
I also had the pho (chicken) but the shrimp and veggie one my sister in law had, also looked amazing. The pho was savory and packed with flavor.
Lastly, I tried the green tea boba…. This alone will give me a reason to come back!

My boyfriend and I went there for dinner, but it was really disappointing — both the food and the service. He ordered calamari, which seemed frozen and reheated. The bland breading kept falling off, and it was served with a cup of ketchup mixed with wasabi as the sauce. With or without the sauce, the calamari was low quality and not good at all.
I ordered the tonkatsu ramen. It was only warm, and I couldn’t taste any pork broth. I’m not sure what they used — probably some kind of instant noodles. It was honestly one of the worst tonkatsu ramen dishes I’ve had so far.
On top of that, the servers didn’t seem to know who ordered what. They walked around holding dishes and shouted out the names, hoping someone would claim them.

I have little bit of mixed feelings about this place. Since it is Japanese cuisine I would expect little bit more neater and cleaner place, but the food wise it was spot on so it made our mood .Everything what we ordered tasted great. I had udon beef soup , it was flavorful and filling. My husband ordered udon noodles dish it was delicious with grill flavor , all I can say is yummy. Kids had fried and regular Philadelphia sushi. Also had chicken gyozas. All the food was great! The only thing I was dissatisfied with, is that the gratitude was included if there is 5 people , and usually it it’s 6 and up. So, automatically they charged us, also there were a lot of different charges, like regular taxes, then city taxes, and card fee. Overall, it got very pricy for a lunch.

If this place was a quarter the size it is, it would feel like an authentic Japanese sushi and sake house. But thank gosh it’s not, because it was busy! Second time here, I have had the ramen, which was fantastic by US standards, and now I have had the nagiri and sushi rolls. Probably the best modern sushi and best unagi I have had in the states. Great service, fantastic atmosphere. Also, great sake selection.
