$16.99 for a bowl like this is worth the deal to me. Tried 2 of their 3 chicken flavors they offer, tandoori and kebab chicken. Both delicious. Tandoori chicken is juicy and has that true tandoori flavor imo. Rice is flavorful as well. They cook the meat fresh too. Healthy ingredients that taste good. I get 2-3 meals out of these bowls. Their customer service isn’t that great. Mediocre and some of them seemed to be annoyed to be there. But nonetheless, great food. Come for the food not the service. I recommend it.

Absolutely amazing experience at Kebab Express Halal Grill on Bleecker Street! The food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and full of flavor—perfectly cooked kebabs with generous portions. Everything tasted high quality and well seasoned.
What really stood out was the customer service. The staff were extremely polite, soft-spoken, and genuinely helpful. They made me feel very welcome and were happy to explain the menu and help with recommendations.
Great food, great service, and a very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic, tasty halal food in NYC. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Came here for the first time on lunch break, staff was welcoming, parking outside , HALAL food! Let’s go. I love Afgan food, this place nailed it with the spices and seasonings. I actually writing this review while I’m eating. I must of came at a great timing because the parking is filling up. People are coming to get delicious food!!!!

An excellent and very clean restaurant with truly delicious food. We really enjoyed our experience here, and this was our first time visiting. We even came all the way from Virginia, and it was absolutely worth it.
The customer service was outstanding. Anas and Sara were extremely kind, friendly, and professional, and they made us feel very welcome.

Good day, The staff at this location was friendly and informative. Luckily, I was able to walk in and order right away. The chicken over rice w/vegetables and white sauce was good. He even gave me some pastry to try, and although I do not recall the name, it was delicious. When you’re in the area, I definitely recommend this place for a good amount of halal food at a reasonable price!

I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated during my today visit.
I ordered two mixed to go and planned to pay with my debit card, as I have done many times before. Instead of processing the payment, the older gentleman at the counter immediately questioned my card and implied that it might be fake or stolen. There was no valid reason for this assumption. I have been a regular customer and have never had any issues when paying with my card, especially when the younger staff members are working.
When I asked why my card was being singled out, he insisted that I pay in cash. I refused, as there was no legitimate justification for denying my card. What made the situation even more upsetting was that another customer, who happened to be Asian, paid with a card without being questioned or asked to switch to cash. The difference in treatment was clear and deeply uncomfortable.
No customer should be made to feel suspected or profiled based on their skin color. I used to enjoy coming here, but after this experience, I will not be returning, or recommending this place to anyone. Respect and fairness should be basic standards in any business.
