First of all, it’s a far away place from everything else. Secondly, they took a long time just to bring our drinks even though there wasn’t any other people in there. Additionally, the chicharrones they promoted to be received once we sat down were never given to us. Finally, the presentation of the food was unappealing. The corn tortilla looked like it was undercooked, It had no flavor whatsoever and they only put very little meat inside of it. It’s safe to say that I will not be coming back and will not be recommending this place at all.

It is such a cute and homey place. The lady was super nice and detailed with explaining what the items in the menu were when we had questions. The quesadillas with guisados were super good along with the fideo. Their agua frescas were , it is definitely a new favorite place on my list.

Y’all must give this place a go. They have a friendly staff and good food with a little bit of something for everyone. The cherry on top was their cucumber lime/lemon agua fresca with chia seeds. Will definitely be going back, worth my 30 min drive to get there.

What a disaster. Drove an hour from Weslaco for this? The food came out missing half of what they said it included.
The kitchen looked like they were running a fire drill, not a restaurant.
One poor waitress running the whole show.
Tables still dirty from who knows when.
Appetizers? Apparently those are just for decoration on the menu.
Do yourself a favor — skip the headache and head to Las Quesadillas in McAllen. Actual food, actual service, and you won’t age waiting for it.

The food was really good!!! The lemonade hits the spot. The Quesadilla La suprema feeds 2 people and it’s big. And a really clean place. Really good service as well.
