THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM!! My friend and I went there two days ago on Monday and everything about it was very good. The food, the lady who I assume is the owner, the atmosphere and the set up of the restaurant is all very nice. She recommended khao poon and I’m so glad I tried it because it had just enough spicy in it and everything was well balanced with each other. My best friend ordered the coconut curry and I tried some of hers and we agreed it was bomb! I want to get that next time I go. Also, I thought it was so thoughtful that they had chocolate as one of the things to add to your coffee! I am definitely coming back here!! Thank you so much for the happy experience.

And I’m so sorry for the late review!

I popped in because they serve laab, my favorite thing to eat. Kevin, the owner, kept me company while I waited for my food by showing me the incredible equipment and coffee specialities. I learned about the influence of Lao cuisine on Thai food (it’s huge) and we did a little “laab dance” to express our joy. The food was absolutely delicious and the chef was kind enough to give me some Lao spice to make my laab “Lao hot”. I will be back soon to try the Mekong Coffee and the other entrees with my people. Strong work, Kevin!!!

Hole in the wall SE Asian Cuisine restaurant that offers Lao, Cambodian, and Thai dishes. I recommend checking out their family business in Mill Plain Vancouver if you’re passing by or in the area. I got a chicken pad thai and Mekong coffee. But I would love to come back and try their Phnom Penh noodles and other items on the menu. Overall nice space, yummy and delicious food, and coffee

We saw a video mentioning this place & realized it was super close by. SO happy we decided to order from here. I will be a repeat customer for the Khao Poon alone. Incredible. My partner ordered the pad Thai and this might be the best version we’ve tried in the area. I don’t know if this is solely due to ordering via DoorDash for pickup, but I do wish we could choose spice levels for the pad Thai. I was able to do so for the Khao Poon. I’m super excited to try more drinks. We went basic for our first visit, with a chai & a Lao Lao sunshine, but definitely will be returning here pronto. I’m bummed today is Sunday (they’re closed)… otherwise I would’ve ordered that soup again.

I was very disappointed with the Papaya Salad. Original price 12.95. I asked for it to be Lao style and she charged $8 for shrimp and pork rinds. Told her I didn’t want the shrimp and she said I could pick it off. Put the price at $23 with tax. Flavor was very poor didn’t taste like it had tamrid just a muddy flavor. I was so looking forward to this and sad I wasted $27 on something so disappointing plus tip :/

This little delight is one of our favorite coffee shops. I had heard they have the best Thai coffee, which I tried and loved the flavor, however it’s too sweet for my personal taste (regular mocha are also too sweet so it’s definitely a ME thing). Their drip coffee is superb. The atmosphere here is perfect for meeting a friend or reading a book.

They offer food as well, which I’ve heard is great, but I haven’t tried it yet unfortunately.

We stop here every time we’re in E. Vancouver and often go to this side of the city for the coffee alone.

The hottest coffee in the best way! I love a good white mocha and one that arrives hot and not luke warm. KCoffee has hot and tasty white mochas! Will definitely be going back!

Came in to checkout a new place to get coffee and was surprised it was so empty… the owner lady is extremely welcoming and answered all my questions. I got the tiger tea latte and the mekong iced coffee. The tiger tea latte was very good, but the mekong coffee was too sweet. I will have to try their food next time!

This is an amazing little coffee and Thai place it was genuinely surprising. At first I was skeptical because coffee and Thai? But I tried it and was shocked how both were amazing! I’m a huge coffee nerd and they have great espresso ☕️ and a poke bowl that was delicious. The coffee is shockingly good please support this small restaurant/cafe you won’t regret it.
