Our server was Michael, he helps us alot on our menu. I got the prefix menu for only $39 and it was worth every penny. PEI mussels/ 8oz water lobster tail w/ vegetables & mashed potatoes. Also a top notch of brownie sundae with ice cream. That was so rich and chocolate. Yummy. My man got grilled crusted shrimp w tangy sauce and KC burger with crispy potatoes fries/ chips. Also I wanted a fruity drink and he recommended the blackberry smash and it’s was great. We had warm bread with buttery garlic spread for starters. The seats were comfortable. I recommend this place. Thank you for serving us Michael.

Not a bad place for a happy hour visit. We often prefer sitting at the bar vs a full service dinner.
The food and drinks were good and we’d go back for those.
The waiter was a bit off-putting though. He went through the whole Spiel of having us sign up for their list. The problem was that he addressed it to me completely ignoring my partner, even though she had paid the bill.

Very disappointing meal here for a family birthday. Everything was very bland. The meal took a really long time to come out and somehow all of the food was somehow overcooked and simultaneously cold. My husband ordered French onion soup and the cheese wasn’t even melted. Another person in our party order a steak medium-well which is his preference…came out medium-rare and cold. Calamari appetizer had some kind of strange sweet sauce drizzled over top which other members in our party felt was a strange and off-putting taste. Somehow, it seemed like they were trying to hard to make these tasty but with very odd ingredient pairings and completely missing the mark. Underwhelming and overpriced. The friendly service was very good and was the only saving grace to this experience. The quality of service though seemed to be impacted by the kitchen…the food took such a long time to come out after ordering that I am thinking the kitchen was understaffed or highly disorganized. Don’t waste your time having a meal here. Very disappointing. Also, the restaurant was not crowded and they refused to seat us until all members of our party arrived…we had a reservation for six people, two got stuck in traffic so the majority of the party was there. Even if the last two weren’t able to get there and they seated 4 people at a table for six, there were PLENTY of other tables not only in the restaurant itself but also within the same seating area. Kind of ridiculous tbh.

While browsing Resy for a nearby spot to take my husband for his birthday, I came across KC Steakhouse. Based on the glowing reviews, I booked a reservation—and I’m so glad I did!
From the moment we arrived, the experience was great. We were kindly asked where we preferred to sit, and the hostess suggested a lovely table by the windows. Our server, Evan, was extremely polite and attentive throughout the evening.
As we were looking over the menu and enjoying our appetizer, the owner stopped by our table. I mentioned it was our first time there and how surprised I was that we had such an amazing steakhouse so close to home. When I told him we were celebrating my husband’s birthday, he generously sent over two complimentary desserts—such a thoughtful gesture!
The ambiance was lovely, the service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely divine. We’ll definitely be coming back. So happy I discovered this gem of a steakhouse!

We have been dining at KC Prime Lawrenceville since it first opened, over 20 years ago, but didn’t visit it for eight years. Now, we were back and left it as happy and very satisfied customers!
First is the location. Subdued lighting, and a cozy yet upscale ambiance; the interior decor is dominated by high-quality wood. The booth section guarantees almost complete privacy.
The prices – the steaks and prime cuts are as expensive as everywhere else now, all are in the $40s to $50s range.
There are more affordable options, such as pasta dishes, sandwiches, and daily deals, such as half-price appetizers, $1 oysters on Fridays (great quality big-sized oysters, by the way), half-price pasta, etc.
The quality of the food, its preparation, the presentation – all was very good. Every dish we have tried we rated very highly.
Lots of parking is available.
The reservations could be made via Resy on the restaurant’s website.
Highly recommended.

I came here for dinner tonight with my son. I had steak frites, the sauce tasted it like it just came straight from a jar, it was cold and bland. The steak was incredibly chewy. Both my fries and my sons tasted like they had been cooked earlier today and then left on a plate somewhere. My son’s filet mignon was excellent and the service was very good and everyone was very friendly but I am very disappointed.
When I spend $100 on a meal I expect it to be good.

Everyone at our family dinner enjoyed their meals. Our meals varied. From a hamburger with fried potatoes chip, steak, pork chop and lobster dinners. Everyone was so pleased. Lastly the service that was provided to us from a waitress named Fani was absolutely outstanding. Do yourself a favor and check this restaurant out you will not be disappointed.

We’ve been customers of the brunch buffet for over ten years. While the quality has slightly decreased, it is still quite satisfying. There is an omelette station, hot and cold bar, and dessert. Most of the food is pretty fresh. Can get crowded sometimes, but is definitely manageable. Would recommend if looking for a brunch buffet, as there aren’t many in the area.

Had dinner here tonight. Wasn’t crowded at all and service was very slow. Waiter forgot things for the table more than once. Tuna app wasn’t good. Very tough to chew. Calamari was very good and would recommend. The dry aged cowboy steak was bland at best and not very tender. $250 for 3 people with apps, but no booze, isn’t ridiculous if the steak would have been better. There’s much better places within 10-15 minutes of this place.
