Was in Olathe heading to McDonalds to get me some breakfast. I noticed KC Donut was open, the open sign was lit in the window. I decided to give them a visit. When I pulled up I saw 2 workers through the window & we made eye contact before I parked my car. Once I parked, got out the car, walked toward KC Donut opened the door & the looks the worker gave me was like what am I doing in there establishment. I wasn’t greeted once I entered the store so I broke the ice & said good morning the one of the workers asked how can she help me? The other worker didn’t acknowledge me. I asked how much were the original glazed donuts? The one worker pointed toward the price list on the wall. OK I am still not going to let the devil steal my joy. I bought 3 original glaze donuts. As I was leaving the store, a Caucasian man entered the store the workers greeted him with good morning. I was like wow I wasn’t greeted because I am an African American. I am learning which food places to not visit that DO NOT cater to African Americans. I was thinking I should create a list for stores & restaurants that do not want African Americans visiting their establishments. Fast forwarding to the donuts. The donuts were cold, it was 28 degrees this morning & I most definitely didn’t want no cold donuts. I put the bag on top of my defrost in the car to knock the chill off the donuts. The donuts were dry,no moisture, just thick. I will not recommend this location for anything. Customer Service & donuts are horrible.

So i went for the first time the other day …oh man was i wonderfully surprised. The woman behind the counter was so sweet and hilarious. The doughnuts blew my mind. I had been craving an apple fritter and it was so good. My new fave doughnut shop.

I have ROUTINELY heard that these are the best donuts around. My personal favorites are the old fashioned and blueberry donuts. They are so dense and decadent, and melt in your mouth! I love going on the weekends when they have the caramel fluff filled long johns.

This has been a regular haunt for our kids during soccer tournament weekends for many years. Looks the same today as it did 20 years ago. The donuts taste great, (the twists are huge) and it won’t break the bank.

Easily the best donuts in KC! They have a great variety, always fresh, fluffy glazed and delightful cake donuts aren’t too sweet and make a wonderful treat! This is not a dine in location, so you’ll need to find a nearby park for your donut date, but they are worth it!

I was in the mood for donuts, And I literally devoured the donut in my car before I got home! It was probably one of the best chocolate donuts I’ve had! I don’t know if it was just a special donut, But I loved it! Or if it was just baked??!! Not sure, And the lady at the counter was wonderful!
