The Presidente roll was good. However, the rest of the rolls were bland, and the rice used in our rolls was old and hard. Seafood was fresh, and service was attentive, which are both pros. However, for the price paid, the sushi was incredibly sub-par. We sat outside, and the patio was very dimly lit. We may have caught them on an off night as I’ve heard good things about this establishment, but my experience did not align with this. Would not recommend.

Went here yesterday for the first time after it was recommended by a friend, and am still in shock at the way we were treated and the quality of their practically nonexistent customer service. We first asked to move tables as it was starting to rain, which the staff didn’t seem too fond off since it meant slight physical labor on their part. The spicy tuna roll came out with practically no fish (see image) which the manager later said “has to do with how they cut the rolls.” I sent it back and they brought another, so obviously the issue was not how it was cut. The fire roll came out and had a metal staple in it (See image). When I notified the waitress she didn’t even mutter a word or apology, she just took it away. They’re lucky no one was injured because they would’ve been liable. They brought us spicy Mayo, one of which looked like someone had spit on it because there was some clear liquid on top of it. After all of this, I called the manager over, and in a demeaning tone he tried to make excuses not only for the horribly rude service but also for the so called “sushi” they serve. After all of this, we were given half off the bill. Had this happened at any other restaurant with any standard of customer service the entire meal would’ve been on the house. But the fact that I had to sit there and argue with the manager after a staple was found in our food is the most outrageous part. They have no perception of accountability. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Very much improved food. I tried the ramen and it was good for the most part, except for a thawed aftertaste. Otherwise the food has improved over the last couple of years. Great for a night out with friends!
