Great food and atmosphere!! Photo is the bacon wrapped peaches off their feature menu. We loved that you could split most all of the meals, too! Chicken parm was great!!

First time at this restaurant. What is shown in the picture is the tempura walleye. First let’s discuss the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. You cannot be in a rush to eat or drink in this place, be prepared to wait for everything. The only thing our waitress brought out quickly was the water. Low lighting and socially responsible seating from other patrons. This is a popular place. The customer service wasn’t bad, but it could’ve been better. I don’t want to judge the customer service with a fine tooth comb because our waitress seemed overwhelmed with our group (approx. 14 people) and the number of tables she was assigned. I plan to scrutinize closer when I visit once tourism is less. Now onto the food. My tempura walleye was served over rice with julienne sliced vegetables. The walleye needed salt but that was it, the dish was delicious! As you can see, the portion size was perfect for a healthy appetite. I shared my walleye with others because they were envious of my great meal.

Family-owned, cozy Italian restaurant. Open evenings. They have half portions available on certain dishes which is considerate. My fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was delish! Hubby had lasagna, then lava cake & vanilla bean ice cream. Reservations recommended.

Absolutely perfect!! My grandparents come here frequently and I was delighted to join them. The service is so great, even when they’re busy. The food is fresh, full of flavor, and unique options are available. It’s not hard to find something that you haven’t tried before here. There’s also a specials menu that changes every day (I believe) and I definitely recommend trying something fun from that menu; you won’t regret it. If you’re in the Okoboji area, make sure you visit Kazarelli’s – it won’t disappoint!

Good food and great service. We have stopped here the last few times we have been in the area and the experience has been wonderful each time. The homemade bread is delicious and so were all of the entrees. We have come with a larger group and each time food was served at about the same time for everyone so no one was left waiting for their plate. They also do a special menu that has changed each time we have gone so it was nice having new options to pick from. Will definitely be back in the future!

First time checking out Kazarelli’s on the recommendation from a friend. It was very good. I had called and left a message requesting to make a reservation. I received a call back which confirmed the reservation. The restaurant is a small family owned restaurant with some Italian dishes, sandwiches, salads, steaks, fish and specials. I had the chicken parmesan which was very good and good portion. My husband had the lasagna and he enjoyed it. They came with a small salad that was average. The bread is flavorful and you might need to ask for it. We had to ask for ours after seeing other tables get theirs. Overall, nice and quiant place and recommend making reservations! Would check it out again when in the area.

Our waitress was great. Took an hour and forty minutes to get our food, had reservations, and the table was ready on time. I had to ask about the food, it then showed up. The food was cold, historically the food has been good. Not this time. 2 of us ended up leaving our steaks sit on the table after eating half. Just not what you expect when you pay good money.

As a walk-in we expected to wait. Guess our timing was good, as we were seated right away. For a Saturday night the service was very good, and our server was extremely helpful. I had the best Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, and I had to have a container for leftovers. Hubby’s meal of Baby Back Ribs was lacking in size, but good. We’d go back.

First time trying Kazarelli’s and it was very good! I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, it was delish! Prices were competitive, atmosphere was nice. Our waitress Angie was very nice! Just an all around great place to eat out on the lake! 🙂
