This is an average little sit down dinner. Great salad with toppings and real blue cheese. Appetizer platter was half bland, half full of flavor. Ruben was delicious with hand made fries. The steak was over cooked and the mashed potatoes had no seasoning and was dry. The pies had thick bland crust but two of the three filings were decent.

It looked a bit rough on the outside but I saw that their pies were homemade and decided to take a chance. I got a square meal that was tasty, filling, not too expensive and possessing that rarely found “from scratch” appeal that most places lack.
The smoked chicken defied expectations, being crispy on the outside yet tender, juicy, and smoky on the inside. It was smothered in a tangy BBQ sauce that hit just right.
The fresh cut fries ranged from plump and tender to well-done and crispy- perfection is overated and I found them pleasing to the last. My other side was broccoli that was a bit soggy but digestible. I also had a roll that was hot, flaky, and yeasty.
The banana cream pie was not messing around. It had a flaky, buttery crust and a rich, creamy filling with just enough ripe bananas. This was an outstanding homemade pie and not the junk most places get delivered on ice. Since the pie was so good I doubled down and got a peanut butter cup cookie too – soft, rich, chocolatey, and loaded with peanut butter.
I should also mention the prices are more than fair and the waitress was very friendly and patient with my road weary self. It might look a little run down, but you can feel the love in every bite at this little mom-and-pop restaurant.

Popular family-owned restaurant.
Been here several times since. Food is still good . Good value for the money .
This was only my first visit – but I would say,
Very friendly service, delicious food, comfortable classic atmosphere. I would recommend the char-grilled pork chops. My wife enjoyed the meatloaf . Family-owned business.

This is a lovely place for a quick meal if you’re traveling through Ohio. The food was great quality and delicious, with lots of unique options and varieties of ingredients. The coffee was also really good, not bitter, but not too light. I had a veggie omelet and some fries and was not dissapointed! Their baked goods are also really good. I recommend the coconut cream pie which had real coconut chunks and velvety custard. The price for this meal was also phenomenal. I would strongly recommend this place not only because of the great quality food but of the nice and helpful staff.

Reviews offered so much promise. Welcome to God’s waiting room. I think we were the youngest and we in our 60s. Waitress was scary, we were to afraid to ask for drink options or to spend too much time asking about accompanying dishes. Food was reasonably priced but prime rib was more chewy than Wrigleys. Vegetable were cooked just long enough to lose any natural colour. Somewhat droopy fries arrived at end of meal with an apple pie by way of apology. Stir fry was neither shaken, stirred or fried. Beef roast was OK and didn’t need a lot of chewing however I wish we’d chosen the smaller option for “Seniors”. Garlic bread on the side was best bit… This was a Sunday lunchtime service and staff seemed a little stressed. We were asked if enjoyed our meal in a Top Gun buzz the control tower fly past, and were not brave enough to comment. Grandma’s cookery when you really want your mums…

Very lovely little place! I ordered the Delmonico Sirloin Steak with Mashed Taters n Gravy. It was very good! The steak was cooked perfectly and the mashed taters were fresh and clumpy. Loved it!
