We stopped off this morning for breakfast. It was on a Saturday at about 8 AM and we were able to immediately be seated.
I had Kay’s Orcutt omelette, it was very good. Wife had Too much to drink last night omelette. She loved it.
Service was nearly perfect and we certainly enjoyed our breakfast. We will come back again very soon.

Food and service were great! Classic American breakfast/lunch options in old town orcutt. A group of 5 of us went out, we were able to get a table within 10 minutes of arriving. Even though it was a Tuesday they were still rather busy.

We ordered all breakfast options (served all day) we ordered waffles, French toast, an omelet, coffee, and a couple mimosas. Everything came out hot, fresh and quickly. Very tasty, simple, hearty dishes.

Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a classic diner type experience in Orcutt

I LOVE this little place! It’s a favorite of the locals and I wish I lived closer because the food is SOOO GOOD!! The inside is so cute and I love how they decorated with windows – especially the one they used as a shadow box. The staff is friendly and efficient and happy. There is a wait because Kay’s makes people happy and I am really pleased we went there. The prices are really good too. And my Adult beverage was perfect! I only have two comments – I couldn’t find the sign on the outside of the building (apparently it is very high up) and there isn’t a Kay’s closer to where I live. Thank you to Paige who was our lovely server on Saturday when we went and to the young man who made my drink – BRAVO! I thought I was done but I just remembered the biscuits – the most fluffy and light and delightfully perfect biscuits – Heaven!

We visited for the first time on a Friday night. We sat in the back by the bar and Billy served us. It was AMAZING and I credit it ALL to Billy! From the get-go he was friendly and helpful, gave great suggestions and even whipped up a few custom cocktails for us. I’ll remember the great experience and we will be back! Highly recommend! *Second visit was as great as the first! Billy was great again and the live music was very fun!

Well worth revisiting. Friendly attentive welcoming service and tasty food. Strawberry lemonade is quite good, but I could also say that about the smoked tri tip and more. Be careful of the blueberry muffin, it was so moist and delicious that I didn’t notice there was paper around it.

The service was good, the server was very attentive and prompt. The food was okay, nothing extraordinary or unique. The ambience is that of an old diner that was remodeled with a 90’s vibe…to each their own. However, I couldn’t get past the smell of smoke. I am very sensitive to smells, and the restaurant smelled like an ash tray. I’m not sure if it’s because maybe at some point smoking was allowed inside or because just as we were walking in a gentleman that was walking out started smoking right in front of the entrance and the smoke got inside during the going in/out of the restaurant. But it smelled awful.

This place is always a win, win for breakfast. I wish they would bottle their salsa…soooo delicious. Staff, as always, are very nice. Even though it has been 10 plus years since I have visited, it will always be a great place to stop by and have a good meal.

We’re visiting the area and have been here twice in one week! Excellent breakfast both times. Chile Verde omelette, biscuits and gravy and cinnamon raisin French toast were all great! Our server Nicole was very attentive and helpful. Yum, yum!

Just moved here from out of town and a lot people told me to check this place out for breakfast/brunch. It was okay, I got the California Hash browns with a muffin.

The hash browns were okay, and it was a large portion. The muffin came after I was done with the hash browns, which was odd. However the peach tea was really good! I would come back just for the tea.
