Ordered from this place because the front desk clerk at the Home2Suites nearby said it was the best option around on a brutally cold Sunday night (actually, she said it was the only option within a couple of miles). I ordered the chicken pad Thai and the beef, both were really good (although I think I ended up getting chicken pho as well, even after verifying twice that my order was for beef pho…I’ve never seen white beef before). It took an hour after I made the order to get call that the food was ready, and when I walked down icy roads and through motel parking lots to get it on a 14° night, they charged me a dollar more per entrée than what was on their most recent menu on their website (see pic). My total was $35, and when I inquired why it was five dollars more than what it should’ve been, the gentleman said there was two dollars tax. It was too cold to argue, I just didn’t leave a tip (since they charged me more than their most recent pricing). I felt that was pretty poor form and maybe a tiny bit of price gouging.

In the future, especially if you’re so busy that it’s gonna take you that long to prepare a takeout order, set reasonable expectations when you take the order: I had been up since 10PM CST the night before flying back from London, then sat on the runway for two hours because no gates were available due to all flights being grounded, and then had to wait five more hours to get my bags once I got to baggage claim. I was really hungry, and if I had known it was gonna take an hour to prepare this food, I probably would’ve grabbed a snack in the lobby (or just gone to the Bistro at the Clarion next door).

You definitely need to update your pricing on your website, too. That’s the kind of thing that really ticks me off. By itself, your food would get six stars if I could do it… but the fact that you may have messed up my order (even after I asked twice to make sure you had it correct), but it was too cold to check it at your food truck so I had to wait until I got back to my hotel room eight minutes later: combined with your arbitrary increase in pricing and your way too long prep time, I can’t give this place more than three stars and honestly, I don’t think I’ll be back.

CALL AHEAD BEFORE YOU COME. I arrived around 4:10 waited 30 minutes for the lady to come and she told me 4:30 but didn’t arrive until 4:40. She then proceeded to overcharge me for the beef pad Thai (I already saw the prices on the website). It was only a dollar extra so I paid but I don’t appreciate the dishonesty. Food was slightly above average. Definitely good portions. My experience, personally, was not that great but I’m a huge supporter of small businesses so I’d recommend.

Our food was perfect after traveling. We got Lard Na & Chicken Spring Rolls. They included 2 yummy sauces for the spring rolls & a lime and chili oil for the Lard Na, which was very much needed because I was expecting there to be some heat. We were quite pleased the Lard Na had lots of fresh vegetables that still had a nice bite to them. They also included silverware, napkins and an extra plate. It only took about 20. I called while we were on a shuttle being taken from the airport to our hotel. The driver of the shuttle even offered to drop us off at the food truck. I checked in and my husband went to pick up the food. The timing worked out perfect. They did charge an extra $2 but our total after tax was $30. Don’t plan on eating it there, there are no tables.

My husband and I have to spend a night in Dallas because of a missed connecting flight. The airline put us up at the Comfort Inn. We searched on Google Maps and came across Kayes Lao & Thai Food.

The owners were very friendly. We ordered Green Thai Curry and Laotian Chicken Noodles Soup. Saw the chef cooking from scratch. The Thai Green Curry was delicious and authentic. Even the rice which was good quality Thai Jasmin Rice and was cooked to perfection. The noodles soup was hot and tasty. Kayes food was the bright light of our travel misfortune.

Was recommended to go here by our front desk receptionist at the nearby hotel we were staying at. It was BOMB!!! We had the pad see ew, orange chicken, spring and eggs rolls and all so good! Some of the best Thai I have had in a while and pricing was super reasonable for huge portions. Wish I had this delicious food in my hometown!

Wow so happy to find food such great Thai food while having to stay overnight at DFW! I forgot to take pictures because we were so excited to eat. Had the pad woonsen and red curry. Good size portion and such authentic flavor. The owner told us they stayed open until 4:00am during the ice storm while people were stranded. Wish I had Thai food this good at home!

Just got in from a 15 hour flight from Thailand. When I looked around well more Thai food. Went down ordered the Shrimp fried rice (Cow-Pot). Joked a bit if I could pay with Thai money since I still had some. It got a good laugh from the owners. The Rice is the spot perfectly and satisfying with great flavors like if I was still in Thailand. All cooked from scratch.
