Very good here!! Lots of variety when I come back another 4 times to have so much different food. Burgers, soup, Only live 2 miles as well. Got Commission Soul and have seen The Groove Council!! Kathleen Murray is very good. My Aunt met her years ago as my Uncle was a musician for the Legendary Clive Davis.

I think this is my favorite “new to me” bar in the Detroit area! Nice draft beer list and good menu. Our server, Shaday, was super friendly and nice!We went on Wednesday night and were able to take advantage of the $3 Michigan beers special and also enjoy free pepperoni pizza at 10pm (Shaday said pizza chef was named Tony as well)! Just a phenomenal place right off M-59 and Mound with tasty food and reasonable drink prices.

I wanted to enjoy St. Patrick’s Day by having some traditional Irish food, so I headed to Kay and Jay’s for lunch. The place was packed with a lively crowd celebrating the same thing. A live band played traditional Irish tunes, which really added to the festive atmosphere. I selected the Corned Beef and Cabbage, and it was an excellent choice. The corned beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the cabbage was cooked just right, not mushy at all. The entire dish was perfectly seasoned. Even with the large crowd, the service was friendly and efficient. I will definitely return, especially next year.

Every trip to Kay Jay’s is like stepping onto the set of Cheers. I always feel so welcomed here – the staff and the characters make me feel so at home, they always take care of me. Classy, yet Cozy. The food is great, Prime Rib Wednesdays is the highlight. I’ve made friends here and hope to keep making them for a long time. Thanks to the whole team at Kay Jay’s ✌️

Our group loved the place. My 1st visit. Craft draft beer selection was excellent. Menu was full of interesting things. Opted for Tuesday house special polish plate. 2 thumbs up! Chris Canas was performing an acoustic set and he was better than ever. Can’t wait to stop in again soon.

To be honest the food was way better than I was expecting. I had the Corn beef sandwich with onion rings and a crock of the French onion soup. It was all great I will defiantly be back especially for that soup. I love French onion soup. It was kind of crowded so it was a bit noisy but that happens when smaller places get busy.

This is my favorite sports bar. Great atmosphere and they always have beer specials. Service is great. I highly recommend the pizza – it’s very similar to renshaws pizza (Clawson) but it’s a little better. They cook it well and the bottom is crispy. Lots of cheese. Burgers are fabulous. They have Friday fish specials that are super popular. Thanks Jessica, Leah, Chris, and the entire staff !!!
