This place gets a good review for the insanely good price . 15 dollars for a set is amazing. The katsu is a bit thin but was good anyway and about what I expected for the price. The restaurant is nice and small, it feels cozy. The sushi roll is a proper full roll. That along with the set menu filled me up. I wish the katsu was thicker but still a very good place for the area.

During the week they have excellent lunch specials! I love the bento boxes! My favorite is the Thai Hot Basil with chicken. It comes with miso soup, salad, rice, California roll, and dumplings. The chicken comes with vegetables in a light sauce, not too hot. For dinner I and my husband like the Hibachi. He gets the filet mignon and shrimp combo and I get the filet mignon. It comes with soup, salad, noodles or rice, and vegetables. The prices are excellent and the quality of the food is outstanding. Rita is a great hostess and I can’t say enough good things about the food at Kawa.

I had big Togo orders from Kawa. One of the appetizers got a mysterious curly black hair on it. I threw the whole thing away bc I don’t know what that was. I called them to let them know, they said I can get my 20% discount next order. I think I deserved a refund just on that item. I think that would be more fair and professional for the business to do so just to keep their loyal customers.
