Went on a Friday evening buffet. The $15.99 is not worth it as dish choices are sparse and the same from lunch. The Chicken tika masala is yummy but the Saag Paneer was just tasteless. The rest of the dishes are average. This place used to be much better. The restaurant definitely needs an update and a good cleaning. Service is minimal. I gave an extra half star for nostalgia as Kaveri was the first Indian restaurant I tried and made me love Indian cuisine.

food quality is okay and taste is mediocre too. I didn’t find it very good but neither too bad. As for the price I guess this place has higher prices and the taste doesn’t justify the price because I have eaten in much better places with same price. I ordered biryani 6/10, chicken tikka 7/10, matar paneer thali 7/10. Total damage $60

Good place for Indian comfort food. 5 star to masala Dosa. Potato masala was made north Indian style which tasted amazing. Onion pakora was fresh, right amount of batter, very crispy. Chicken Tikka masala was dependable. Paired it with madras paratha which was like dry north Indian roti, balanced out richness of chicken Tikka masala.

Kaveri Madras Cusine is a hidden gem. Very clean place, very tasty food and good ambience. The quality of South Indian food is defined by its dosa – their dosa is not oily/greasy as some of the other places. Same goes with the vada, not oily at all. The chutneys are authentic with the right amount of spice – coconut chutney is mild and tomato chutney is spicy. The gulab jamun on request is served warm – is very tasty. Ambience is decent and ample parking is available. Highly recommended.

Excellent south Indian food. Idlis were soft. Vadas were crunchy and tasty, masala dosa was also good. Tomato chutney and Sambar were highlight. Sambar was spicy and hot, so good. Lassis (both regular & mango) were okay, not great.

Great dinner menu. I usually go for the lunch buffet, but was very pleased with ordering of if the menu for dinner. Their chicken makhani is my favorite. Great garlic naan, too.

Good and simple place. I ate dosa and filter coffee here. It was good. Surely go there next time when I am on town

So good! We’ve lived in the Arden area for 2 years and never tried this place until last night. We were craving Indian and this was the closest place. We were blown away by the menu, the smells, the flavors and the portions, wow! They are not stingy in any way! The food was great, nice ambiance, nice people! We’ll definitely be going back!

It was a completely new experience for me as I only tried this type of food twice in my life. It’s a buffet style and there are many choices of different types of food. I decided to try pretty much everything that they had to offer. And everything I tried was absolutely delicious. I also like all the bright colors for the choices food that was offered. The staff was also very friendly. I can honestly say it was a delightful experience and I will be going back.

One of very few that my Indian friends call “authentic.” Great lunch buffet, this place is very popular for a reason. Don’t trouble with the menu, just get the buffet and try small portions of everything until you find what you like. There are small bones commonly found in the meat, don’t be alarmed but chew carefully. Very yummy!!
