After a recommendation from a gentleman I met at Dollar general, we decided to try Katy’s Katfish today. We were hungry and decided to have a late lunch. We were seated and our drink orders taken right away. The waitress brought our drinks, coleslaw and a big basket of hush puppies. I ordered the catfish filet and baked potato and my hubby got the catfish strips and fries. Everything was very good. I’m picky about coleslaw and it was delicious. The waitress offered us more, but we knew we wouldn’t finish our other food, as it was. The breading on the fish was so good and crispy. The fish was cooked to perfection. We ended up bringing home half of my filet and two of the strips, as well as several hush puppies. Our waitress was great and very attentive. We didn’t get her name but her initials were TB. I highly recommend and we will return.

Catfish filets with 3 Veggies- cabbage, green beans & mashed Potatoes w/gravy. I would have been satisfied with the fish. Breading & seasons were just right! The sides just needed a little salt & pepper, otherwise good.
2 meats- 3 Veggies
Chicken livers & Hamburger Steak w/gravy. Baked Beans, Coleslaw & mashed Potatoes. Another good choice (I didn’t try the livers, personally not a fan)

This is truly a little piece of heaven on earth!!!!!! The food was extraordinary and the service was amazing!!! Mr. Carl pulled up a seat and talked to us like we were family!!!! It was quite the “find” traveling from another state!!!! I pray the good Lord continue to bless this restaurant and each person that is apart of it!!!!
